I have dealt with TCV on multiple occasions for different residents and can’t say anything but good things. From the care to social services they have patients at the center of their care!

My Mom moved into the Garden Villa 3 weeks ago. She is adjusting well and enjoys the smaller setting. Having been living alone for years, she is smiling more while visiting with the other residents for breakfast, lunch and supper. The rooms are just the right size, the residence is quaint and very pretty. The staff are very kind and you can tell they really care and enjoy the elderly population. Julie, the Administrator is outstanding. She is definitely a problem solver, very positive and has a great sense of humor. If you are searching for a smaller population residence—-this is THE place you should come and look at! Transitions can be very difficult for your loved ones and this place and staff have made it so much easier! Lincoln, Il is fortunate to have such a smaller and accommodating residence for our loved ones living in their golden years!

Mom moved from another facility in another town. The difference was quality care the corporate way to equal care but now feeling the staff really cared about each person. Mom was given PERSONAL care that I was thankful for.

My mother resides in Independent Living. We are quite impressed with the facility! The rooms are nice, warm and they are clean. The staff, especially, Julie, the administrator are wonderful! She is kind, considerate and caring and very cooperative with any questions we have. She always answers our calls promptly and courteously. My mother is very pleased also. They take her to appointments if necessary and assist in any needs we have. So comforting to know this facility and staff go above and beyond - every single day!!

The people at Christian Village at Lincoln are incredibly helpful. My husband's therapy has been going really well. They're actually going over and above because they're trying to encourage him as much as possible. It's been a very good experience for him. I can only see his room through the window. The staff has been very helpful, and we have been communicating by telephone. Everyone in therapy gives me updates, and I'm being updated also by the nurses. He seems to be content with the food. His room is not large, but it's pleasant, and it works for him.

My mother was at The Christian Village for a short time. We were not able to visit due to COVID, but she received excellent care. They were very personable and all the staff was very loving and professional. They have a full-time pastor that does church services and preaches daily to the residents. Her room was very nice. I wasn't able to see my mother's room until she was actually passing away. You're not allowed to go into the nursing home unless someone is actively in the death process. She got exceptional care, just a very loving, professional staff all around, everything from the CNAs to nurses, to administration, to the pastor. They let hospice come in to get my mom care. Maintenance was even exceptional. They moved her furniture in for her because we couldn't go in the room. They very lovingly tried to place her things where she could see them. Everything was handled with utmost care.

I am quite tardy on my review. My dad, Ray Buch, who passed away a little over a year ago, spent time at this facility, both in rehab and then for his final months of life. I was so impressed with both the rehab and nursing facilities- what extraordinary care! My dad was very much at peace during his stay. May God bless each of you who cared for him.

A far from clean and maintained "home". Smells of urine and rooms need updated or at least some fresh paint/walls fixed. Linens are stained and torn. Dining Room needs major attention and a good scrubbing. A few caring front line staff but the DON could be a bit more hands on and available to family members. Inappropriate conversations at nursing stations everytime we visit. We are looking to move our loved one to a cleaner and better managed home soon. This place does NOT live up to its name!

TCV is a well above average nursing home facility with a devoted staff that cares for my mother with dementia. The home provides a dedicated wing to the residents with memory illnesses and I was lucky enough to have my mother transferred there from another TCV nursing home facility. The home offers semi-private rooms and an amazing atmosphere. There is another facility in Chrisman IL that would have been my second choice. Mom had been a resident of the TCV assisted living facility Hickory Point in Forsyth just north of Decatur IL where she had been a long time resident in her own home for many years after my dad passed. Find a safe place where you can visit often. Let time make it their home.
