My grandmother went to the nursing home after falling at home and breaking her hip and wrist. This nursing home has been redone in the last several years. Each patient has a TV that will pull right over their bed. This was great for my grandmother because she loved TV. Another great thing was in order to go to physical therapy she had to get dressed and couldn't go in her pajamas. The only thing I wished the staff had done was to encourage my grandmother to go eat in the dining room. She didn't like the food and I think some interaction would have encouraged her to eat better. My grandmother did not want to do her physical therapy and the staff was great about encouraging her to do it and they didn't let her slack off. The nursing home put carpet in the halls, which was great. You didn't hear the staff walking down the halls or pushing carts down the hall. The staff was always very helpful and sweet to my grandmother.
