It was pretty bad. When my mother and I were visiting my father, another resident came into his room. She was confused, disoriented, and hostile, and she started demanding that my mother give her her phone. It took several minutes for a staff member to come and deal with the situation. My mother was quite shaken. Also, one of the staff members told us to stay away from a gentleman who was out in the halls, complaining and cursing very loudly, because he had recently broken a nurse's fingers!

I was initially impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff when I visited the facility. But once I moved my Grandpa in, I wasn't happy with the care he received. More than once when I visited, I found him with soiled pants, and it seemed that he hadn't been checked on by the staff in hours (during one late afternoon visit, I found lunch dishes still on the tray next to his bed). I moved him to another facility and was glad I did.
