"Claridge Court is a fantastic place. They're very tentative, and they've taken care of my wife very well. Her room is fantastic. The staff is great. They pay their people well, they do a lot of research, and they're always available. Whenever my wife presses the button, she gets help. They offer some discount, but they're very, very expensive. If we could afford it, we'd stay there. She's in a single room. They don't have assisted living, but if she stays there, it would cost $16,000 a month. I can't afford that. The food is excellent. She likes it. If you don't consider the price, it's an A-rated company."

"We found Kingswood. It’s a private facility with an indoor pool. Everything is great and clean. I don't have any complaints at all. I would recommend them. The staff is very friendly. I’m very pleased and content with this facility for my loved one. "

"We toured Colonial Village. They have all levels of care. It is big, nice and open. It meets all the criteria. The problem is that the dining room is closed in the evening. They don't cook dinners. They cook two meals, breakfast, and lunch. One of the reasons we are getting out of our house is because my wife is incapable of cooking. They met all the criteria except that they don't have meals in the evening, so we were quite disappointed. The rooms are nice and big. They have one- and two-bedrooms. They have one-and-a-half baths and two baths. They have a lot of variety of things. They have all the usual activities, and those rooms were nice and big, too. We went around with the staff, Jill, and she was extremely nice."

"We like Tallgrass Creek the best. We liked everything pretty much about it, except they had this gigantic deposit that's required to get in. My sister and brother-in-law liked that the best also. They had an open house. They had a luncheon, and it was very nice. It was just very nice the way they do everything. This is a very, very high-income area, except for a tiny bit of the demographics to be able to afford that. So, they have that kind of income in that area. It's very affluent. Also, the fine print that my relatives saw on getting the 90 percent back was very vague and very questionable. You're supposed to get 90 percent back when you move, or your heirs get 90 percent back, but it was very, very vague as far as when and how you get that 90 percent back. The staff members who assisted us were excellent though. They're really good. Some of them were residents. It was very well set up. The food was excellent, too."

"We toured The Fairways of Ironhorse. The place is fabulous. It's nice and clean and it's right on the golf course. We had lunch there, which was good. Their pricing structure was a little different, but it is doable. They have one-bedrooms and two-bedroom-two-baths. They're quite long rooms. They have an underground garage, but they charge you for it for a hundred bucks a month. They have a washer and a dryer in the unit. It's very impressive. However, they don't have assisted living. The staff who assisted us, his name is John, and he was super nice. He invited us to lunch, and we had lunch there. For amenities, they had everything. They had transportation to shopping and to doctor's visits. They also had group activities."

"I took a tour at Cedars of Liberty. I saw that they have an activity room, a cafeteria, and a little library. The rooms that I saw were normal-sized rooms and fairly nice. The staff was fine, but I did not really care for the whole place itself. "

"Cedar Lake Village was a good place, but it’s more expensive, and they don’t have the care that they did here. They said they would take you to doctors, but they only took you. The buildings were quite new. There were two bathrooms and a washer and dryer. "

"My mother was in a duplex there, then moved to an apartment. They both have been great for her. Her one-bedroom apartment with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen, was plenty roomy for her, with plenty of closet space and kitchen cabinets. There is also a pantry for storage, and a laundry room down the hall. All the staff who work there are very nice and helpful. I haven't met one who wasn't. She likes to go to movies in her building and to church services. She also loves the exercise classes. It has been a great place for her."
