"The food is very good. There are lots of activities and the staff is the best. They very friendly and caring."

"We visited Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes, and they showed me around the rooms and down the hallway where the guest rooms and the dining rooms were. It's a good place, but they didn't have rentals for anything other than a year or six months. They didn't take only 30 days. The rooms were OK and fully furnished. They had meals, laundry rooms, and bathrooms in the rooms. The staff told us everything and answered all the questions."

"I visited Charter Senior Living of Gateway Park in Greenfield. They have independent living quarters where you're in with a lot of other people, and then they have individual houses with just wonderful accommodations. It's very expensive. They're running around $3,000 to $3,500 a month, and that's pretty heavy, but it's comparable to the prices that I've checked all around. When I am ready, that's the one I will probably use. It's just very nice, quiet, secluded, and has all the amenities that go with it. You can have independent living, and I still have my car, so I will have a garage, and everything, just like living in a regular residential area. They're just like regular houses. It has all kinds of restaurants and a lot of traffic around the area. It's also roughly about 10 miles from my current home, so that's the one I would want to use. In the big apartment complex, they have a swimming pool, a recreational workout, and stuff for staying fit. The workout room has stationary bikes and walking paths where you can walk your dog. They have food there that they fix, just like a restaurant. The price on the big house with all the apartments was a couple of hundred dollars less than the individual units. You just come out of your independent living house and walk into the big apartment-like place, and you have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They even have snacks. I've had lunch out there a couple of times, and the food was excellent. I've sampled some of their breakfasts, and a couple of times I was out there and had dinner with them. It's excellent, and everything about it is clean. It also smells good. I've found nothing that turned me against it."

"My mom stayed at Compass Park Indiana Masonic Home for two weeks. It was a good experience. She had adequate care. The staff was very nice. I kept in touch with them on a daily basis. My mom had a very nice room. It was practically new and very clean. They had a courtyard and a little bistro. The food was good."

"My mom moved into Otterbein Franklin SeniorLife Community. She knew people there already, they are medicaid waiver, and they have different levels of help all the way to nursing home. She said the food is very good. We saw a studio and a one-bedroom; she chose a one-bedroom. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. They're doing exercises, movies, stuff via the TV on a special channel, and they are going to the dining room to eat while maintaining social distancing."
