"I had toured Spring Harbor. I loved it; however, it was one of the places where you bought into it for life, and I couldn't afford the initial payment. It was like a minimum of $200,000. It was that kind of a place. It was about perpetual care, but the initial cost was too much for me. But it was a beautiful facility. The apartments for independent living are larger. The activities are first class, high end, and very cultural. They take their residents to cultural events in the city. They have lots of sporting and physical activities. It's just a very active community. The facility itself is immaculate and elegant. Everything about it is very high end. It's lovely. Everyone I met was extraordinarily friendly. There's a full-time physician available on the premises. It's just an extraordinary place, but it is expensive."
