I've been a resident here for 9 months. There are simply at a loss for words when it comes to every facet of this "skilled" facility. The staff are under trained and too busy gossiping about coworkers and complaining about their jobs. We are frequently under staffed and it is not unusual to not be able to find help. The food is abominable and the service is worse. The rooms are lifeless and it's not unusual to find "critters" such as bugs and mice. The amenities are non existent. To top it all off the two vans used for transportation are falling apart. There is no air conditioning and the doors on one of them have to be opened and closed manually. I wish this was a positive revue as there are real human beings living here who deserve so much better in their so called " golden" years. Please do not place your loved one here!

I recently walked in this place to visit a loved one and was beyond offended and shocked this facility is allowed to be in business. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the intense smell of urine throughout this place and front desk help consumed with their cell phones. If that wasn't brutal enough this place is dark, beyond dated, and dreary. The hospital beds are from the 50s. You have to manually crank patients up into a sitting position. They do not have safety side rails and are faced away from the windows so patients cannot look out. Blinds are broken and will not open. The tv's do not have remotes for the bedridden and are on top of extremely dated future. My loved one was forced to stare at the bathroom and closet. Every food order she requested was wrong. The lack of care she received doesn't even qualify as one star service. The walls are painted medium to dark 70's color. It saddens me how these people are living. I can't imagine how they have passed any state and health inspections. All I see are lawsuits in the making. Bottom line... Pioneer and loved ones DO NOT BELONG IN THE SAME SENTENCE. !!! It may or may not make a difference however I will be filing complaints with anyone I can about this place. These patients deserve so much better on so many levels.

I feel they could be more attentive. The nurses alwaya seem preoccupied and we wait a long time when buzzer is pushed for help She needs more showers more often
