Undignified. The director of the facility wanted a cat but no one would empty its litter box. So the front room with the television smelled terribly of putrid cat feces and strong sour ammonia / urine. A resident died and they just left her in a green body bag right there in the font television room for hours and hours while her husband, Tom, unaware she had died, sat there unaware watching TV with everyone else. An utterly terrible place to be or leave someone, in my view. Some staff were ok and tried but at least one girl who was going to college was especially bad and should have never been there. Very scary.

Based on our Mom’s experience here we could never recommend to anyone else. Nursing homes always face so many difficult challenges, and some meet those challenges better than others. One of the deepest regrets of my entire life is not having believed our Mom when she said she was afraid of one of the nurses.

I liked Walbridge, the rooms are single-occupancy type, and the activities are fabulous. It's open and cheery, with large windows, and a beautiful view. They have Bingo, and they have activities every day.
