The Best Assisted Living Communities in Poinsett County, AR

"Liberty Park Senior Living of Jonesboro was nice. It's small and that was one of the things that we liked about it. There were only 44 residents. The room was very nice. The dining area was impressive. They had a lot of activities. If we hadn't chosen the one we did, we would have probably gone with Liberty Park. They had like the game room and a television center. There were computers that were available. We only met with a couple of staff, the administrator and then one of the other employees. They were very nice, very professional, and answered our questions fully."

"We moved mom into The Bungalows at Jonesboro. It's excellent. The staff is very accommodating. We were rushed in getting her moved in and they all went out of their way to help us accomplish that. Her room is perfect. Maintenance and upkeep are excellent. They do all of her favorites. They play bingo, Wii bowling, all kinds of games, board games, and exercise classes. She is very satisfied with the food. The dining area is very nice and pleasant. She enjoys the company of eating with friends."

"The facility seemed to be a friendly environment for the citizens. The front gate was well-guarded with security. The staff and nurses appeared to be friendly and helpful. There were plenty of activities available to the members of the society including exercises, libraries, shuttle runs and movie nights. There was an easily accessible church in the front gathering room. The walls were lined with very colorful art that made the place seem very homely. The members seemed happy with their environment. There was even a guest house for visiting guests. We didn't stay the night so we didn't get to see the guest house, but from outside it seemed exquisite. I would definitely recommend any senior citizens for this home and would even consider going there myself later on in life! "

"St. Bernards Villa is a gated area. No one can go in without being checked out, so you can't just pop in and be there. My sister-in-law has been there for three months now. She has an area for a couch, a TV, a bedroom, and the bathroom is very handicap accessible. There is a door that goes out into a private patio where she can walk or sit. They have activities in the morning and in the afternoon. They have wonderful meals. It is a really wonderful place."
