I would definitely recommend Denali Center. It's excellent as far as I can tell. It is a facility that is attached to a hospital. It is clean and just a very classy facility. They've got tons of activities. They have a very active coordinator that brings in people from the outside. I have friends there that I visit all the time with my poodle service dog. It's both for people who are there for physical reasons and long-term reasons. I have seen nothing but care and respect. The staff is caring. My daughter worked for a while up in the receptionist area and she loved it. One thing she noticed was that money is well taken care of. She was at one point working to manage money that residents would come and dole out their money that was in their account. There was a group of young ladies up in the front that was taking care of that, which was very efficiently done. She was very excited about the way it was done and the way it was fool-proof. There is no possibility of anybody misusing it. The rooms are well-lit and well monitored. Patients have access to taking themselves out of there. People who have a tendency to wander off have a little tag on their wheelchairs. So when they go passed a certain point, an alarm would go off. They have pressure-sensitive mat on the door. So if somebody walks into the room and steps on the mat or walks out, there is an alarm, too. Each staff member carries a little radio to monitor their residents. So it's very modern and it's very well done. The food was also very well done.
