My mom is in Perry County Nursing Home and they're very helpful. It's a very rural county in Alabama and they're very nice. It's in a hospital building that was built in 1950 that was converted into a nursing home. We chose it for her because she was born in Perry County and has family over there. She is paying out of pocket and it was a good price too. We could afford it. She's in long-term nursing care. It's very clean, with good staff, and very organized. She has Alzheimer's, so she's not able to tell me everything that's going on, but when I'm there, they seem to have stuff going on for the residents.
