My grandmother has been a resident of Marengo Nursing Home in Linden alabama for several years now, and seems to be very happy there. When ever I go to visit her, the staff is always friendly and knows me by name when I walk in the door. Keep in mind that I do not visit on a daily or weekly basis. Before my grandmother entered the nursing home, she did not like associating with many people. Now she speaks to almost everyone that walks by her door, and normally has a smile on her face. They make arrangements to get her back and forth to doctors appointments and even carry her to walmart at times. She seems to have lots of fun on the outings or even at the activities the nursing home plans. I have been very satisfied with the amount of care and respect my grandmother has recieved while being a resident at Marengo Nursing Home. As long as she and I both remain happy with the level of care and respect she will continue to be a resident. I have no wish to remove her for any reason.
