I would like to see them improve the skillset of the caregivers they send out. When I talked to their VA specialist, he was always responsive, but as it went down the staff chain, it got worse. The caregiver they sent to my house was supposed to assist my dad with bathing, cook, clean, and help my dad with his mobility issues. The caregiver did not know how to do anything; everything he asked for, she failed at. Right at Home sent out other people who were just as bad. The impact on my dad caused him a lot of frustration. He had abilities to hire and fire people based on their performance in his job. He is short on patience. The caregiver was supposed to go get groceries, and she was not able to get what he asked her to do. The agency could make his life easier by getting an evaluation process for their caregivers or having a training program for them. They need to do their due diligence and improve their training program.

I recommended them because of the care my dad is getting. They facilitated care for me. If it weren't for you all, we couldn't keep him there. The friendliness of the people who come to the house has made me happy.

They were hands-on, and they called periodically, and they called to check on us. We would use the services more if we could. The aide who comes spends quality time with my mom.

I would say they are family oriented and real easy going. He has dementia so he can be challenging at times, but they are really good with him, they help with laundry and in the kitchen, and it gives me a break.

Communication is sometimes an issue in reference to scheduling. Without them, she would potentially be in an assisted living facility.

They care, they're compassionate, they're reliable, you name it. They're just very good people. It gives us a break, and gives him the support that he needs.

I like that they have been pretty good at staffing. I like that the caregivers are vetted and dependable. They are pleasant with my father and stepmother. I am not there to see what they do regularly day to day, but they show up in a timely manner.
