Thankfully, we did, and we caught them in so many lies. We also found out that the aide they had taking care of our family member has pending elder abuse chargers. One of the owners of the company (the one we dealt with) knew this as it is her family member. Even the hospital that set them up as a home care agency is cutting ties and will no longer even work with them. Again, stay far far far away!"

"Dependable Health Care Services offer physical therapy. It is a really lousy, badly run agency. The CNA's they send me are worse than useless, and the homemakers are even worse than that. Most of the caregivers are really sloppy. One of the homemakers that came to my apartment sat on my couch for six hours and watched TV, and that was all she did -- she watched movies for the whole six hours that she was here. They never call to let me know if somebody is not coming. I am still using them only because the physical therapist that I've got right now is excellent, and this is the only reason. They need to get intelligent people to work for them and people who actually care about the clients. The ones that I had told me that I would never learn how to walk again; they gave me absolutely no encouragement. The guy I have now, he is very good and encourages me a lot. But the other ones, if they come over here again, I will call the police. They were that bad. "

"We've been working with Companions & Homemakers for at least two years now. They are excellent. They'll do anything you ask, and they do more than you ask most of the time. They do personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and laundry. They'll do grocery shopping as well as transportation to physician office visits. The caregivers are fantastic. I have people coming in now seven days a week, 12 hours a day. We have different caregivers depending on what time and who's available. The management has been terrific. Anytime there isn't someone that can show up, they always get a replacement or a substitute. They always call and tell us ahead of time whenever somebody might not be available and ask if we want a replacement. They've been terrific to work with."
