Assisted Living Reviews for Acadia Care

August 25, 2021

By Barb T

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister moved into Acadia in August 2021, she is so happy and so loved, it has warmed my heart and relieved my reservations about her going into a assisted living. The rooms are beautiful, each with a well appointed toilet/shower. The main room is very big, with big windows... my sister loves sunshine. The fact they have a pool is wonderful, my sister LOVES being in the water!! Having met the staff furthered my appreciation, they are wonderful and so kind. Couldn't be happier with her situation. Thank you Acadia!!

I was looking at the assisted living at Acadia Care. I was very impressed by the quality of care there, and by the obvious comfort of the older people being cared for in their homes. I thought the staff was exceptional. I never did get to meet the owner, but the people that live there and take care of everybody are absolutely wonderful. They know what they're doing. They're dependable and likable. I can see why elderly people would like to live there. It's a private home. It has a wonderful swimming pool in the backyard. It has a wonderful view, but the place itself is very, very nice. It's a top notch building. The furniture and everything is first rate, so it's very nice. Everyone seems to feel like they belong there. It was a very nice place to live.

I visited this facility

Acadia Care is nice and clean, and they have twenty-four-hour service. I think that would be good for my husband so they can help him with his medications. The staff was really nice. She showed me around the place, and it seemed like they take pride in the work that they do. The staff was very eager to help, she explained everything to me in detail, and she was more than looking forward to me choosing this place for him to stay. The upkeep is really good, it seems like they have everything in order, and everything looks nice. It's right off the interstate, and it is in between Charlottesville and Waynesboro, so it's a good location for me.
