"I went to Keestone of Lawrenceburg and spoke with the head woman there and she was just basically describing what they do and all. I walked in there and looked around a little bit. It's a nice facility. They have the dining room area. They have an area for recreation. They have a piano in there. It's pretty nice the way it is set up. It's got a small town environment there, and there's a Baptist church down the street and everything, so it's like a nice community. That's what I saw anyway. The head woman was very nice and very professional. She answered all the questions. She was very informative. It's not a facility that is Medicare funded. It is out of pocket, and that was a big thing too in what we were looking at."

"I visited this facility looking into their rehabilitation amenities, and found much more than I had bargained for. I found that no only do they offer physical rehabilitation, but also occupational therapy and speech therapy, as well as being a short term, and long term care facility. Their staff is always pleasant, and greet every person with a smile and a word of greeting. They have daily schedules posted through out the facility of activities they have planned for the residents and their families, as well as wonderful, caring people who plan these activities. They have two wings in this facility, one for short term patients, and one for long term patients. They have a very advanced common area for all patients and their families to enjoy visits, which is equipped with the newest technology in video games for the kids, big screen tv, and all the cable channels that any one person could view. If you enjoy the outdoors, they have a beautiful garden with benches to sit and enjoy the smell of fresh flowers, and their beautiful bounty of magnolia trees. They also take the dining experience of nursing facilities to a new level with their 5 star dining hall. They have cloth table cloths, as well as cloth napkins, you drink your beverage from a glass goblet, and enjoy your meals by candle light. It is probably one of the best nursing home experiences I have ever had. And best of all, their rehabilitative, and therapy services are not limited to residents, but also available to the public. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the market for any type of rehabilitation, or extended care. "

"Countryside Healthcare and Rehabilitation meets the exact needs that we were looking for, which is a nursing home that can provide round the clock monitoring of a patient and that it's Medicare funded to a certain degree. There is going to be a limited amount of out-of-pocket, but that was the main two things. Having been there myself and looking around it, it looks like a professional facility from what I've seen and talking to the social worker, it seems like a good place for my mother, and what we're looking for is really a short-term solution, because we believe Mother will be able to go back home and be able to function independently. It seems like that place met the need that we have going on right now. It's basically like your typical nursing home. They have a lot of staff that are moving around and there were some patients in their wheelchairs that were up there near the main nursing station talking amongst themselves in the wheelchairs. Other than that, there were nurses moving around from room to room and all that. It's a pretty big facility and they get three meals a day and they are taking care of them quite well, I believe. The area that I was in looked clean. I didn't see any problems with that. I didn't walk all around the different areas, but it was clean and ran well. It was very professional."

"This is a very caring facility with a homelike atmosphere. My sister is there and we are so please with her care. She has Alzheimers and a colostomy bag which the nurse there takes care of. They do her clothes for her, help her shower and help dress her every morning. They have plenty of trained staff including a nurse. It is in a country setting and the vacility itself that looks like a large vacation lodge. The fee there is more reasonable than other assisted living homes in this area. It is not as grand looking as some, but is a homey place with a porch and lots of rocking chairs and a swing. They exercise daily and play games. The lady who help them with the activities has worked there over 25 years and has a vibrant personality which is good for the residents. There is usually a waiting list. "

"My parents are moving into Merrill Gardens soon. The rooms are nice and spacious. I think they're more than adequate. They do a little remodeling after a resident leave or when they get a new one coming in. They make it all nice. They also have a lot of activities. They have regular church services, exercises for elderly, all kinds of board games, and group discussing history. They have planned activities basically every day. "

"My father has transitioned from the Glenwood rehab to their nursing home. I must say they are very efficient with their care. There are absolutely no complaints; my father’s really happy. I use him as the best analysis, but my exposure to them is that they’re very knowledgeable and willing, and he does not have to delay or wait on anything. It is a single-story facility, and for that reason it takes up more room. But it’s a nice looking facility -- and well-maintained -- so the architecture and everything looks fairly new. It has good parking although it’s crowded a lot. Overall, it’s kept very clean; there’s no hint of any odors or anything. Everything there is kind of serene. Everybody is going about their business on a routine basis, but I’ve never seen any signs of problems at all. That personalities of staff are different, but they are excellent. One person was just so good at what she’s doing, and I happen to catch her nametag. She was the Director of Nursing, and she was serving the food; that impressed me. This lady had a management style where she believes that she should set an example; that says a lot about how a place is run. Glenwood is a quality institution with a very well-kept physical plant. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they’re quick to serve. I highly recommend Glenwood. It is a very good facility. "

"I was in a private room The Staff was excellent. They don't allow pet VISITS unless they are service. animals The double occupance room sare small with not much room for belongings. Overall it was a pleasent stay for the 7 days I was there staff was very accomadating and prompt when I needed help"

"My terminally ill mother had several stays in this facility. The staff was outstanding on all levels especially in regards to nursing and CNA care. We never had long waits for care, the food was healthy and balanced, and the rehab center is state of the art. I would recommend Mitchell Hollingsworth to anyone in the area needing short or long term care. "

"My Mother, who recently died, was a resident in this Assisted Living facility for five years. Overall, the facility is excellent. The building is less than 10 years old, food is excellent and proper quantity for this sedate population. Staff is excellent and adequate numbers. Involvement from outside institutions, such as Churches is excellent. Price is very moderate.On the fine print side, activities and trips could have been more plentiful. Hopefully this has improved. "

"Keestone is BEAUTIFUL and has both independent living and assisted living--high ceilings, stacked stone, dark beautiful wood--wood and wrought iron doors, landscaping award. . . four years old. . . a 50's room, linen napkins in dining room, grand piano in beautiful lobby. . theatre room. . . I toured an efficiency/studio apartment. All is wheel-chair accessible with beautiful tile in the bathroom and in the entry area. The small kitchenette area has a college-size refrigerator and a microwave as well as a small sink. There is no cooking in the room. The director was friendly, well-organized, and well-informed. They seem to be flexible and accommodating as they work with the residents. We plan to use this facility for a loved one and look forward to the association. "

"My grand father stayed in this nursing home before he died. I went to visit him there on serveal occassions, and every time I went there the staff was always very helpful. The nursing home it's self is located in a small town that is very nice as well. I would recomend it to anyone.It is alittle hard to find. The food is great for what i remember, and they have a really nice rec room with a piano and really big bird cage that is very clean as well. Nice place for a loved one, and very inexspensive. I have talked to alot of the people the and the residents there seem to be pretty happy. My grand father never complaind about any staff miss treating him, and the nurses there check on all residents pretty offten. Two thumbs up for this nursing home. "

"I visited this assisted living facility and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. The residents I met were happy and were having a good time socializing. The common areas were clean and nicely decorated. They have a vegetable garden in the Spring and the residents help shell peas and snap beans. Then the cook prepared the vegetables for their lunch or supper that day. They have an exercise room with treadmills and other equipment suitable for the residents. It is not a large facility and the staff is kind and caring with the residents. Ivy Crest has a fish tank, birds, and dogs for everyone to enjoy. A hair dresser comes weekly to cut hair, give perms, and do wash and sets. The facility provides transportation to doctor appointments if needed. I would recommend this facility for anyone that is able to take care of their personal needs but wants the security of nursing staff and caregivers. "
