"We visited The Manor on Lawndale. The grounds were nice. They had new owners, and they're in the process of remodeling it. They were redoing each one of the rooms in the facility. They had already redone the floor, done a lot of painting, and put in new furniture in the common area. The lady that showed me around was nice. The day I was down there, they had some little three-piece band and they were playing and people were sitting around, listening to the music. The staff said they had crafts, too."

"I have a family member that is a resident of Dogwood, and I visit there often. All the staff members are very caring and have a genuine concern for the residents. The facility is always clean and well maintained. I have visited other similar facilities, and none compare to Dogwood. "

"My mom is now at New Albany Health and Rehab Center. It's very nice. It seems to be very welcoming and clean. It is decorated sort of a welcoming-type situation where everything is updated. It doesn't look institutionalized. There is artwork on the wall. Everybody is out of the rooms and moving around. The nurses are very nice and helpful. They seem to be taking COVID precautions. I haven't tried the food, but my mother has not complained about the food. They have a lot of activities, it seems like because my mom is always talking about that they're doing this or that. There are a lot of arts and crafts, fingernail painting, just different things to get them together. They were making crafts like they did something for Thanksgiving. She has enjoyed the activities. They have just been accommodating and helpful with the process."

"Generations Senior Living was nice and clean. They're close to the mall. We visited and almost moved into it. The administrator was nice, and the rooms were large. I liked what they offered. They were a little expensive, but they're next to the newest facility in town. The only thing I didn't like about it was you had to pay a pretty large deposit down. They said it was a deposit, but it was nonrefundable. I wasn't happy about that. The staff was nice. We didn't eat anything there, but I did talk to some of the other residents and asked them about the food and they said that on some days it was good and some days it wasn't. The rooms were modern."

"My mother is their for PO, OT and Speech. I had to call last weeks due to various issues there. The Social Worker has been a blessing because she goes directly to the source and make you feel comfortable and loving. I wish they could work on their morale there. My mother, Ms Moore seems to be a liitle more happier now. Thank you staff for lifting up mom's Spirit!"

"Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home is a nice facility. They're just building a new activities room, which is nice. Their activities are more like bingo or any auction and I just don't enjoy that, but I play the guitar and sing for them. We do that a couple of times a month or more and they like that. The food is excellent. The staff is nice."
