"My grandmother became unable to live alone after my grandfather died. My mother decided it would be best for her to move to an assisted living.the staff was very attentive.the facility has a program of pairing a new resident with someone who has been living there for awhile.this was a blessing for my grandmother a she is very social and was able to make friends quickly through her mentor.they were great about assisting her with her medications since she had started to be forgetful about things like that. They were also able to assist her with showers and dressing when needed.cedar hill staff does an overall great job of making their facility feel a home like as possible. The only complaint I can come up with is the techs on the night shift would occasionally ask my grandmother for money to help her with things which is strictly against their policies. once we and a few other families brought this to the directors attention they corrected it immediately and removed the inappropriate staff. Overall cedar hill is by far the best option closer to Selma Alabama for an assisted living facility. "
