"I recently visited this facility and now I am planning on moving my Aunt here. The facility is accessible, clean, bright, and offers as many social activities that my Aunt can choose to do, or not to. The meals looked delicious and all residents looked truly happy and well cared for. I met the owners who spent all the time I needed helping me make sense of our personal situation and worked with me on forming a very sensible plan. They made my feelings of fear turn into those of safety and contentment. I also met the nurse, Vicki, who immediate struck me as a strong resident advocate and medical provider. Tommi, the manager, was able to answer all of my questions and more. My Aunt, surprisingly, is looking forward to moving in and I could not be any happier with this charming new home and extended family soon coming her way. "

"Delmar Manor was fine and very clean, and people were very considerate. While we were there, they were playing a game where they were hitting a balloon around and some people were watching television. They were engaged in different things. Several of the employees participated in the activities and kept them moving around. The room was fine, austere, and shared by two residents. You can bring your own furniture. Everything was well done. "

"My dad moved into Gull Creek Senior living last summer and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is TOP NOTCH! They take great care of my dad and all residents there. Now instead of living 150 miles from me he is 15 miles and I get to see him and take him out for dinners. If I could give 10 stars to Gull Creek I would. His room is awesome, he loves the balcony. He plays Bingo during the week and has great meals ready for him when he gets to the dining area. Without Carolyn, Megan, Vicki and Eileen I would be lost! They are the BEST! "

"I like the safety, the cleanliness, and the staff at Cottages At Riverhouse. The place is beautiful. They have bingo once a month, different kinds of card games, and entertainment from places that sing for us. My apartment is small, but it's nice. Their prices are very reasonable."

"Anchorage has a troubled history but since the new management took over things have really changed. The care is excellent. The staff was wonderful to my aunt. And, wonder of wonders, the food was good. She was delighted. The facility could use a facelift but the quality of care more than makes up for that. "

"I went to Homes at Gateway Village 62+. I like the fact that the apartments are like little private homes. And, I like the fact that the staff was friendly. But when I originally went to do my tour, they closed early. So, I didn't like that. It says they closed at 4:00 but they were closed around 3:45, so I don't like that. But other than that, that's it. I only got a chance to see a model home that seemed to be pretty clean. It looks like it's renovated, so it does look like it's a little updated. I saw the eating room. I saw the, I don't know if it was a pool, but I got a chance to look in the window because like I said they were closing early, so the light was off. But I did get a chance to peek in the window. It seemed to be clean and nice."

"I was only in Salisbury Rehab for a couple of days. The staff was conscientious, but a little bit lower compared to where I was. They had a game room and facilities for getting together and singing, etc. The food was OK; I didn't have any complaints. The rooms were a little smaller, but the facility itself was clean. "

"Wonder old facility, I love the sheer quietness, expanse, and simple technology approach of the facility. If you just need time and space for recovery, this is charming. "

"I've been to Healthsouth Chesapeake. The staff was very good as was the atmosphere. They had activities where you could join in with other folks, like singing and playing games, etc. The care was very good, and the doctors came in once or twice a day to check on me. There were also nurses available. "

"Victoria Park at Sassafras Meadows was very nice and very clean. It's in a very nice residential area with new homes around. They have a theater room, an exercise room, and a beauty salon. You go outside with a deck/a sunroom. They're like apartments. They're not like buildings. It's not like it's a nursing home. It's a senior community and other people live there. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and answered questions about the complex."

"My dad is a disabled veteran, and Manokin Manor is 100% covered by the VA. It didn't start out good, and I wasn't really happy at the beginning. But it actually has improved quite a bit. The staff is okay and they have activities for the residents. The building itself has improved, too. They're in the process of making renovations. They still have quite a long way to go, but they're trying to improve it. Dad also has dementia. He has been there a little over a year. "

"Sarah Margaret & Mollie's Placed looked clean, well kept and attractive. The staff was friendly. The residents looked well cared for and well groomed. It had a more pleasant environment than the one that my ex-husband was at now. "

"Nurses here were great and so were the CNA's. The rehab group worked me hard and it paid off. The food wasn't great in the beginning, but it grew on me. It's not bad. Physical therapy and staff were amazing."
