"Wheatridge Acres was a nice place for my wife's grandma. She hardly complained at all (a big achievement for her). She loved the actvities, she showed excitement when she got to see her neighbors and was always active in activities like Bingo and church. She had fallen and broken her hip a couple of years ago and she had to live in a rehabilitation center for a couple of months. All she talked about was when can I go back to Wheatridge? When she finally was in too low of health to stay there, she cried because she was going to miss the staff and her friends. It was a great place. "

"The Goodland Good Samaritan Home is a great nursing facility. While they are challenged by having a small staff, they never let the residents suffer because of it. My grandmother never has complained about the food and the dietary staff is always courteous and they make sure to cater the residents' needs. She has been there for about five years now and you can tell she feels like it is her home, not a 'home'. The activities provided at the Good Sam are very exciting for the residents. My grandmother never misses a bingo or movie. The other residents are courteous for the most part. We've only had one problem with the facility and that is that the overnight staff is sometimes unresponsive to the nurse alarms. Grandma said one night that she waited 25 minutes before she could go to the bathroom. That is why I gave it 4 out of 5 and not 5 out of 5. "
