"I toured Pine Valley Community Village. I like that it was updated, clean, and homey. The staff was friendly, and they were interacting with the residents, which I thought was nice. The rooms were nice and clean, they're small but there's a lot of natural light and they were set up well for what older people's needs are. There were a lot of common areas. Going down the hallways there's always a nook where there might be a chessboard, checkerboard, or some books. On the walls, they had little exercises that people could do instead other than sitting in the chair there. They had a library, a place for putting together puzzles, they can play organs. It was all windows so there's a lot of natural light. And they have a big common area where families can go and get together, or have bigger group activities and live music. They also have transportation, they allow pets, and they have flower gardens and bird feeders. I looked at the calendar and it was full of activities for the whole month. It looks like they make an effort to keep their residents busy so they're not just stuck in their rooms."

"We will be moving my mom into Sienna Crest. The community is very nice, bright, clean, and well cared for. It is also quiet, which is what I'm looking for. The rooms are nice. They're not very big, but they don't need to be. It is a nice community all the way around. The people are friendly. It looks like the people are well cared for as well. I only met two staff members, and they were very nice too. I am looking mainly for a place where Mom is going to receive care and three meals a day, and they have that. You can see that they do a pretty good job there."
