"My mom has been at Wesley Court for 2 years now. She has made some great friends. The staff is awesome. My mom has a private room and it looks like an efficiency apartment. I have never had any problems with anything there. The staff always communicates with me regarding my mom. She loves it there and says the food is great. They take them to a lot of places, not just shopping, riding the bus when leaves change, parades. They hold Church services on Sunday mornings. Very popular. Can't say enough great things about this place."

"It has a very clean environment. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are varied from private to semi-private. It was very roomy, and spacious. They have 3 meals a day, and snacks in between. "

"My brother will be moving into Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn. The reason we chose that one is that's in the vicinity of where he lives already and is probably about a mile and a half from his friends and then to his family. We all live here in the Spartanburg County area. It was very nice. I like the way that all the different areas are connected with hallways. We went to the dining room. We were there for lunch the first day we were there visiting. The meal was very good. Yummy, yummy, yummy. I like the idea that I can go out and visit and have lunch with him or dinner. Everywhere we went, it was clean. It's not brand new fancy, but it's very nice. They have specials every day. They have a little menu that if you don't eat on their regular menu for that day, you can pick off of that one, but you have to go to the main dining room for that. We went and visited in the larger living room. They had some game tables in there. They had several little seating areas and then they had a room that you and your family can visit in there. They have a nice little chapel in there. They have services in there and that's a plus. They've got a nice little library out there. I liked it. Everybody we saw was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and answered all the questions that we had. Everything was clean. They were cleaning as we were there. I didn't see any problems whatsoever. We did get to walk down the hall in the area where my brother is going to be. One of the ladies that lived there said, "Come on in, y'all can see mine," so we just visited with her for a little bit and saw her apartment and my brother said, "Yep, I like this" and so we just went for it. I was pleased with everything."

"I toured Summit Hills. It was an excellent place. It was almost like you'd been to the mountaintop. It was top-rated, as far as I'm concerned. The tour was awesome. The staff was top of her game and very informative. She gave us the paperwork and I came away with literature to read. I toured the grounds, the apartments, and one of the homes that were completed. It was a gated community. They had a security person after hours. They had the homes and the visual layout plans. The place was huge. It's a vast area. We were in a golf cart to go around the gated community area. The independent living apartments had a refrigerator, an oven, and their kitchen was large. The bedroom was large, too. They had an indoor pool."

"Do not be fooled by facilities that show you all the glamorous rooms and programs they offer, those are set up as showrooms. ALWAYS ask them about End of Life, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care, your loved one may not need it now, but it could be a possibility in the future. Know what is expected of you if the money/insurance runs out, know the options bf you place your loved one with a facility. We toured a place that looked like a country club, but they didn’t provide skilled nursing, if needed, or around the clock care, they said they had a tech available at night. Caring.com got me started and was a valuable resource. They didn’t try to guide us to certain places, no conflict of interest, just told us what was available in our area. After visiting 15 places, we chose The Clinton Presbyterian Community. They offer multiple layers of care, very clean environment and the staff were very friendly and caring. My Mom says the food is great, that’s a plus!"

"My mom has moved into the facility. It's very good. The staff was really good and helpful. They furnished her a bed and dresser that somebody had donated there. So, all we had to do was take our clothes and our personal stuff. It's nice. She was in memory care for the first two weeks and she's doing so good, so they put her into the assisted living part. For activities, she colors a lot, and she likes the Bible study. She loves the food. They were on quarantine for a while, but now they are off it. They've had to quarantine for about two weeks because Covid was going around. It was the employees, not the patients. So, they just kept them all in their rooms to stay and eat."

"My dad has moved into Woodbridge of Clinton. The facilities are nice. They're clean and very well kept. It's an older building, but they've done a pretty good job of cleaning it up and making it very presentable and livable for people. Most of the staff are very friendly and very attentive to my dad. They do a very good job. They take the time to talk with him and spend a few minutes when they can with him and things like that, which is very nice. I have not tried the food, but I've seen the food that they have, and for the most part, it looks pretty good. My dad enjoys it. They have activities, but he hasn't participated in any yet. He has only been there for a little bit now, and so he's just kind of settling in. They're very affordable, too. They have a library, an activity room, a dining hall, and a chapel. That's the only one we went to because it was close, and we liked it. It was very clean and very nice looking. We toured the room, and we felt that for the price and for the location, that was a very good place to send our dad, and so far, we've been fairly pleased."

"I was at NHC Healthcare of Clinton for a while under doctors' care and they treated me real well right there. All of it went real well. It was clean, the staff was adequate, and the food was good."
