To help shed light on real senior living prices, Caring.com has compiled proprietary cost data from its network of more than 75,000 senior living providers to provide insight into the average cost of assisted living in Houston and 134 other cities in Texas.
Low-income seniors in Houston may be eligible to receive financial assistance for services received in a licensed assisted living facility or adult foster care home through STAR+PLUS, a Texas Medicaid managed care program.Â
