"My husband moved into The Grove at Trelago. It's a beautiful place. The residents are well taken care of. They engage the residents. I don't worry about my husband wandering off anywhere because they're watched. The food is excellent. The care is excellent. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. The staff members are very caring and good with the residents. They have gardens that they can walk through, but it's still confined. Outside their apartments, they have shadow boxes into which they can put memorabilia. It's very well done. The food is outstanding. They have pools, and it looks like a resort. They keep them busy with activities."

"I went to Brookdale Dr. Phillips. I didn't tour the memory care. I only toured the assisted living. It was OK. I felt like it was clean. They had a list of activities, like a calendar on the wall, but yet I was there midday and I didn't see any activities going on. It doesn't mean that they weren't doing them, but that was my impression when I left. There were maybe six or seven people sitting out front, outside the front door in 90-degree heat and I'm like, "Why would you be sitting out here." I got a tour of the facility. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I felt that the director or whoever it was that gave me the tour was more than happy to answer any questions I had. When I left, I left with a pretty good feeling about the place. They showed me the rooms and they were pretty much what I expected. They were clean. They had a courtyard and a library. The staff was very helpful."

"We had dinner at Gentry Park Orlando. They give you 2 or 3 options with each meal. So, you have some variety. The facility is new, clean, and very appealing. They have a movie room and an activities room. The apartments are kept in excellent condition. They have a bus that takes the residents to the doctor's appointments and several different stores. Then they have an outing where they go to dinner. So, they have lots of activities and it's maintained well."

"We visited HarborChase of Dr. Phillips and toured for independent living. They had a beautiful dining room and lovely food. They're delicious. The staff members were very professional. The place is brand-new, so it's lovely. It's very clean, very neat, and has a very professional air to it."

"We like Bridgeport Senior Living-Port Cardiff Llc because it's an actual home environment and they've got a couple of caregivers for every three people. They're making sure mom gets up and gets out into the living room with everybody else or out of the kitchen when they're eating and stuff. They keep it very spotless there and it's just a pretty home. The outdoors is very beautiful. It's very pretty going there, on the front side and the back side. It's been too hot to sit out on the porch right now, but they've got pretty birds back there. The landscape is very pretty. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Amanda oversees the home and recently we had to have a mobile dental service come in and she tries to make sure she's there or is aware of what's going on. When I can't be there, I know that she tries to be there for those extra services. She had to have an in-house X-ray done and I happened to be there when they were doing that. They're very nice and very sweet people. We just moved mom from one side of the room to the other side and they went ahead and did that for us. They made sure that her bed was moved over and everything was moved over for her. They have bathrooms where they give them showers, a nice living room, and several reclining chairs so that the residents can sit in a nice chair while they're in the living room. It's like your normal house so it doesn't feel like you're in a hospital or something. I know they have a menu that they try to go by, but if they don't like the food, they try to accommodate what they like. I know they have served her oatmeal for breakfast, for instance, because they know she likes oatmeal. They have activities for them to get involved with, which is nice. They bring in people and Amanda has sent me pictures of my mom doing some of the activities. The price we pay is up there with the other bigger facilities, probably about the same, but she's getting more attention and they get to know each other in the home because it's on a smaller scale."

"My tour at Florida Golden Adult Care went very well. I liked that it was a neighborhood, in that my aunt wouldn't get lost in a giant building. The place was very clean. The staff who toured us was very welcoming and informative. I was given a tour of the house. She showed me the complete facility. The dining area was clean and welcoming. There's a nice big backyard with a screened-in porch to eat out, and there's a TV, too."

"I toured Madison at Ocoee. I didn't have any issues with them. It was a very clean place. It seemed like they interacted with the patients. The facility was well-kept. I was very happy and satisfied with it. They were all very helpful, accommodating, and pleasant to talk with, and they answered all my questions. They are going through some renovations to make it even better, but the accommodations seem very adequate and nicely laid out. I was happy with that place and all the things that they had offered."

"I toured the Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs. They had the marketing director speak with me and showed me around the facility. And, I spoke with the facility director. He was very nice as well. They answered all of my questions. It was a very clean facility. Everyone seemed very happy. And then as time went by, they also reached out multiple times to see if they could provide further assistance for me and my mom. The size of the rooms in the assisted living area was adequate for a single person. Their dining area was very well spaced. There was plenty of room, tables, and chairs for the residents. Everyone was eating lunch when I came through, and they seemed very happy."

"My mom is a resident of Brookdale Lake Orienta. It's very nice. They keep it very nicely. They don't have so many grounds to walk. She can walk, but it's not so big, but very nice. The staff has been great. They have been very responsive to her. Twice a week they have activities outside the facility where they can go and go to the mall or they go to a play. They do different things. They've got activities on site. They've got a gaming room. They have a beauty salon. They've got an exercise room. She's not in love with the food. She was very picky, so I'm sure the food was fine. I think she doesn't love it."

"I loved Brookdale Altamonte Springs, it's beautiful, but I can't afford it. I loved what goes with it, the cleanliness. It was a very, very well-kept place. You have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner down there. The room sizes were pretty, pretty good. I didn't see the activities, but she (staff) did say they play cards and do movies, but other than that, I don't know what other activities they have. I saw where they eat, a beauty salon, and an exercise area. The dining area looked very clean, and very good. It had outdoor space. They did have a garden."

"I went to visit a friend's mother while I was in town. She was in the memory care unit. The unit was very clean and the smell was very pleasant. The residents were all dressed nice and some of the ladies had make-up on. The staff was helping the residents play BINGO which I thought was awesome. I was allowed to walk with her to her room and I was so impressed how she was able to have furniture from home and pictures of her family in her room. Everything was awesome. Even the food looked delicious. "
