Assisted living prices in Texas can vary widely, and costs in Denton County are relatively high compared to other areas of the state. In nearby Sherman, costs are much lower, averaging $3,400 per month. In the state’s northeastern corner, Texarkana has some of the lowest assisted living prices in the state. At an average of $2,600, it’s $1,800 per month more affordable than the amount paid in Denton County. On the opposite side of the state, El Paso has a similar assisted living cost at $2,950.
