If i have a POA, is our credit then linked together?

If I obtain a loan, will this suddenly affect the person's credit whom I now have poa for? This person is a significant other and is out of the country.

If you obtain a loan, it will NOT affect the credit of a person you have power of attorney for. The fact that a person has given you a POA does not legally mean that that person's credit is in any way linked to yours.
