How to recover moving expenses

My long-time renter in Las Vegas New Mexico is now on medicaid. In order for her to move out of my rental property to a nursing home I assisted her by hiring movers, cleaners, and trash collection. She signed a promise to pay me for these services and my out-of-pocket expenses. Now that she is in a nursing home she has qualified for medicaid. She receives $500 per month ifrom Social Security and approximately $1200 per month from interest on a family trust. She does not own the trust but does receive the interest earned for her living expenses. How can I now collect on the $2ooo she owes me for her moving to the nursing home.
