Facility in poor shape, apartments need to be updated. Have lived here less than a year & have had one problem after another beginning @ move-in (apartment appeared to not have been painted/carpet not cleaned, leak under sink, shelf in refrigerator broken). Have had mice twice due to holes in wall/not repaired but brillo pads shoved in hole instead. Maintenance supervisor condescending, appears to be burned out with no concept of customer service. Bathroom floor buckled/replacement took 3 days to complete (subfloor in poor shape/uneven). Water turned off fairly often for some reason. Furniture in common areas dirty, possible bug infestation. Laundry room less than clean, machines not maintained. Marketing material misleading.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
They have no way to contact the office in case of an emergency....its only a recording for other hopeless seniors

I was not very impressed with Crestwood Village East. In the independent living apartment area, I would not be able to get through the door. I could get in one hallway but that was all. The doorways were far too narrow for a wheelchair, and I'm in a wheelchair, so that killed it right there. In the assisted living, it was slightly better. The hallways were wide enough for a wheelchair and the door from the hallway to the suite was barely wide enough, with an inch to spare. In other respects, they certainly have a very nice place that was furnished very nicely but not extravagantly. The people were very friendly, and the activities calendar showed that they had a lot of neat activities for the residents. In fact, they were having a special cowboy dinner and dance that night. It's a large facility, so they had a lot of extras and lots of little lounges for family groups. There were many things that were wonderful, but the doorways were just inexcusable in this day and age. There are going to be more and more people in wheelchairs as time goes along here. You can't have a facility that doesn't provide access for people like me.

Crestwood was another place that I visited. I liked the gym and the one-on-one personal trainers. The staff was very nice.

I visited Crestwood Village East, but they don't accept Medicaid. At one point, my brother was going to move in there even without Medicaid because he could still have afforded it. But they were not certified. He needed to have a facility that has a nurse available 24/7, but they don’t. All of the staff was very nice. It was nice, but not quite as nice as some of the other facilities, but it is still very nice. It is well maintained. The dining room is not quite as spacious, but still very nice.

The rooms at Crestwood Village were fine. The staff was great. I played Bingo there and used the exercise equipment, and that was pretty much it.

When I went into Crestwood Village East, I was impressed with their activities. They had outstanding activities like ice cream socials, dances once a month, another gathering once a month for everybody's birth within that month, they have Wii tournaments, card tournaments, they have shopping days, and bus service which don't cost anything.
They have a very large wellness room. They got a beautiful dining room. It's very nice. It's a very impressive place. They're totally remodeling it. It started to look beautiful. The apartments in independent living are spacious. I went to the whole thing, the laundry facilities, mail facilities, and the elevators. It was very nice.
They got excellent activities and excellent communication with the people. I haven't seen anything that I really didn't like. They offered me lunch and it was very good. The people that worked in the cafeteria was very nice. They served me well and they were very polite. So was the administration when I went in. They greeted me and they were very nice.

I never noticed any problems with Crestwood Village East. They take good care of us. They would even do the laundry if we wanted them to. The rooms are smaller than what we like, but we have a living room, bedroom, kitchenette, bath and showers. We decorated it ourselves. They let me put some of my pictures, so it makes me feel like home.
