Do not be fooled by appearances. You leave your loved ones here at their own risk and perils. The assisted living facility (called Resnick) is absolutely BARE BONES. Staff could not care less about the residents. In fact, the residents care for one another better than the staff. Just stop and think about that... The first day we visited (early 2023) a resident walked in from outside using a walker. He had fecies smeared on his shorts and down the back of his legs. We nearly gagged on the odor. Did any staff member even turn to see who just came in, and do they need help? Of course not! The so-called Director of the facility is more concerned with appearances than any substantive issue. Every complaint we have is dismissed, with the attitude: if you don't like it, you can leave! My advice: RUN in the opposite direction! Do NOT entrust the welfare of your loved ones to MorseLife -- their rehab center is abysmal (despite the silverware and china), the staff uncaring, the administrative folks (social workers, etc.) uninterested if not outright aggressive! And that's just for short-term stays. Should you need long-term care, you must simply rely on God's Mercy if you have no choice but to leave them at Morse!

Very dissatisfied. One working elevator that was broken for all the residents in traditions . This is not acceptable.

Very poor security guards. A security guard gives me a hard time every time I need to communicate with my mother. All he does is eat, makes you wait until he's finish and then helps you at the gate. Then he also leaves the gate wide open. This security guard has created such a hostile and difficult environment and all I wanted to do is see my mother. He could've just rejected me but no he chose to create a hostile and difficult environment unnecessarily. Very poor customer service. Individuals like this shouldn't work for a reputable place this. I don't know his name, but I would've put it here. He's overweight and short. Very poor security guard

My mom is currently staying at MorseLife. It was excellent. Her stay was good, and I think the care was good. It's a beautiful facility, new, clean, and friendly. So I think she's as happy there as she can be. When you have to visit, you have to make an appointment for certain time slots. They're pretty flexible. I mean, if you're 30 minutes early or if you stay as late as you want. But I think the idea is not everybody coming in at once. The room she's staying at was a private room, air-conditioned, had a view outside with plants and stuff, a pretty nice view of a garden, and had a private bathroom. She had a TV with lots of channels, even ESPN. We're using Medicare. As far as price, it's quite expensive.

I went to MorseLife in Florida last year before the coronavirus. My visit was very good. I went to the senior living or the independent living and the nursing home. It was beautiful and the people were very nice. The apartments were lovely. The facilities were beautifully appointed and very enticing, and the care was very good. It was very clean. I really didn't have much to do with the staff, but they seemed very caring. The food was excellent.
Very Dissatisfied with Morse

The Communication is horrendous. They never answer the phone or return phone calls. They would not let us see our mother while she was coherent. It took hours to get her belongings back, but we did.

My mother was in rehab 1st due to a SEVERE fall at pace(their fault) then fell again and a yr and a half later fell again because the aides did not want to get the lift to help her from the bathroom. She had to have surgery and then ended up dying from COVID from someone there. I am in the medical field and I know we needed to be aware of our social life but obviously the people were not told that. You would think with the elderly they would of been a little more strict. By the way not one person after 4 yrs took any blame. 2 people gave their condolences and never heard from them again. Place appears great and kept well. But if something happens believe me you are doomed. Didn’t see my mom for 6 months.

My Aunt was admitted to the Rehab facility. She was sent to the hospital and left her purse at Morse Life. We called and we were assured the purse would be put in the safe. My Aunt has since passed away. We called Morse to arrange pick-up of the purse and they said it would be at the gate. We went to pick up it was not there. We called and they said they did not have it... they then stopped taking our calls.. we would like our loved ones purse with all of her personal information returned. We have since had to report to the authorities. Beware if you are sending your family member to this facility!!!!
