Victoria Manor is very clean, and it’s an apartment typesetting. It has a large dining area for everyone to come in the middle with. It is decorated really nice and homey, and it’s very clean. The food is not gourmet -- it's pretty basic food -- and it’s close to homemade. Both of my parents are there, and they have twin beds just for convenience for them so they use a walker and get in between. The apartment is divided between a living space, a kitchen, and a bedroom.
The staff is very helpful, but I would say they probably need more help with experienced cooking. The food is fine; it’s not like restaurant quality but I would cook. Their staff is really good. It’s a small community they can spend time with each residents, and I don’t really have any complaints about that. Just the food service could be a little bit higher quality. They just hired an activities director; they are just getting started with routine activities. They had some before, but now they have more. I think they are doing really good. They have bingo, family nights where we can come in and eat with them, and for special occasions they invite us to be there. They have exercise classes, picnics, and outings; it has been pretty nice. This place is a little bit more. They can kind of do what they want, and they allow pets.
