I brought my father here to visit a friend and noticed how happy and at home all the residents were. The apartments there are bigger than what I expected, so beautifully updated too. While I was there, there was a holiday party going on for New Years and it was amazing to see how many staff there dressed up and helped out. Primrose knows how to throw a party and the residents always have something fun to do! My father has started to consider his options and we are surely heading back to Primrose.

I went to visit a family friend and was blown away by the caring demeanor of all staff there at Primrose. The building was so full of life, and you could see that the residents there felt right at home. While there I started thinking about how wonderful it would be for my parents. I popped over to the Sales Office and Jennifer was so friendly and proud of the community. My father took a turn for the worse so a few weeks later I called back and had a question about assisted living, Jennifer placed me on hold and when she came back the Executive Director and Head Nurse were on the line and answered all my questions. No place in the area compares to their passion and availability. Please don't miss out.

The staff and service at Primrose are absolutely horrendous. While the facilities are fine, the staff turnover is constant. There is no point whatsoever in moving to a villa. When my loved one pushed the emergency button in the bathroom once, staff came over and offered to call 911 - that's it. When my loved one had a fall and should not have been walking across the street to pick up the one daily meal provided, the staff refused to drop the meal off even for a week, citing "corporate policy." The prices are outrageous. Keep your loved one in their home and instead pay for a meal to be dropped off once a day and landscape care, and you'll save thousands a month.

My parents are at the assisted living of Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka. It's beautiful, well-kept, and it smells good. Their room is spacious and nicely appointed. The staff is very friendly and kind. My parents don't take advantage of the activities so much, but they do have a lot to offer with a theater and onsite hair salon. They do exercises, they do socials, and they take them to the grocery store. They like the food. The dining area is clean, and there's lots of different places to sit, and they serve meals restaurant-style. So everything's good. They don't serve all day, they only have windows. They're working on having an open dining area, but it won't be done until the end of the year.

My mother is staying Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka, everything is good there except the food. It's pretty chintzy, for the lack of better word. It's a good place but I think she's looking forward to more amenities. There's a couple of places in Florida, where she plans on going, that has a pool and the grounds are bigger compared to there. Primrose has an exercise room, they have a theater, a beauty parlor, and they have a small church and a bar. It was really nice. They also have a bistro. They've been locked down for many months. With activities, everything was good before the pandemic but right now they don't want people to get together.

Primrose Retirement Community is beautiful. I like the fact that it was only five years old, so it's very modern. I like the fact that it had a washer and dryer in every room. They have assisted but they are separated from the independent for dining and things like that. They have movie nights. They have a pub and a bistro. It would be my first choice except for the price. The staff was very friendly and very thorough. They presented us with a little gift bag with goodies in it as we left. They were just very friendly people.

Staff is negligent. I've seen seniors sit in soiled undergarments for over 2 hours. I've seen residents screamed at by nurses. The food is bland, and doesn't meet state nutritional requirements. The kitchen does not operate in any kind of sanitary way. Often finding dirty dishes set out for resident use. Absoloutely awful facility.

We really enjoyed Primrose Retirement. We found it to be an outstanding community. The staff members were very helpful. We looked at two primary residence type units. One was an apartment, a two-bedroom, two-bath, and the other was a patio home. They had all kinds of amenities and opportunities to do things. It was one of the things we enjoyed most about the visit.
