Jennifer Serafin, N.P. is a registered nurse and geriatric nurse practitioner at the Jewish Homes for the Aged in San Francisco.

An MRI is performed by a CT scan technician, who is a person trained to perform that particular test.  They usually have graduated from an accredited program and are licensed by the state they are practicing in.  The results are then read by a radiologist, who is a physician trained in interpreting these tests.
