I was once a resident of Freedom Plaza Sun City Center. They also have memory care and assisted living. The staff is very accommodating and thoughtful. And the food is a little above average. They have bridge and I'm a bridge player. They also have a golf course and I played golf. They have book clubs and all kinds of clubs. And they say if you don't find what you're looking for, start one yourself. It's the only buy-in one that I ever attended. You had to buy in and then you pay a monthly fee. But if you run out of money, they keep you and you don't have to leave.

Freedom Plaza Sun City Center was really nice. It was very homey. It smelled clean. The tour guide, Sean, was very friendly, very informative, and very helpful. He took us everywhere, and he also introduced us to the staff. The staff were very friendly. What I loved about that place is that all of their services, whether it's their cable or whatever their type of things, they were all included in the price. My mother is currently paying a la carte prices for everything. At Freedom Plaza it was all included, and I loved that. The only downside, and the reason why I cannot go with them, is that they only had studio apartments, and they're only 395 square feet. While it was beautiful and very nice, it was like a hotel room, which for some people would be perfect, but not for my mother. They had the same type of facilities. And what I really appreciated about them is that if my mom was the only one that wanted to go somewhere, they would still take her. Where she is at right now, if she's the only person that possibly signed up to go out to eat, they wouldn't take her. They needed a requirement of like three people. At Freedom Plaza they would take her if she's the only one, and I really thought that was a really cool thing.

We were very impressed with Freedom Plaza Sun City Center. They have a different type of plan that takes a little bit to understand, but it has its merits versus some of the other ones. My mother was very impressed with it. The staff was very professional and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice. We saw some residents enjoying happy hour. They have a woodshop, an art studio, and an exercise facility. It was very nice.

I went and toured Freedom Plaza Sun City Center. It was right next to a full-sized golf course. It was a little more expensive than the other place, but in terms of the size of the unit, etc., they were comparable with the other facility. They are a continuing care facility. You start in independent living, and then move on to assisted living or the nursing home as needed. It was a very large building, whereas the other place is multiple smaller buildings. It was probably less walking there. The services and everything were very comparable to other places, but it was just more expensive. The staff was good.

I'm going to Freedom Plaza Sun City Center. The grounds were very nice. The apartment that they showed me that I'm taking is larger than almost all the other places that I looked at. It had an outdoor space, which is important to me. The people who I saw in the dining room looked like they could be my friends. Me and my three guests had lunch there.

I never dreamt I would be able to find some place as nice and as accommodating as Freedom Plaza Sun City Center. It's like living in a resort. I wanted a place that, once I got there, I wanted to be sure that I would be taken care of for the rest of my life, and I never thought that would be possible, but that's exactly what they offer. Pat was absolutely a lovely person. She knew all about the complex and was able to answer any questions. She was just so helpful. She showed me a one-bedroom apartment with a bathroom and a full-size kitchen. It was lovely and more than adequate. Then we looked at a studio as well, and I would be more than happy to just have a studio. It was a lovely, nice space too. I don't require a whole lot, and their studio was already plenty enough. It had a full-sized kitchen too, and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. It was large and you can sit down and shower yourself and whatnot. They have an alarm button that you can use to contact somebody if you aren't feeling good. If they don't detect any movement in the room until 10:00 in the morning or something, they'll send somebody to check on you. They also have housekeeping once a week. With this particular unit that I got, it had originally been two places, and they're breaking it into two spaces. It won't be until after the closing on that they'll start to work on it, and it'll be two months after that before they finish. I got to choose the kind of laminate flooring I want, the color of my kitchen cupboard, and the granite top. They're just super accommodating. They've bent over backwards to make me happy with whatever I request them to. They gave me extra time before I had to move in and start paying the monthly fee too. They've got two swimming pools (one indoor, one outdoor), a golf course, an area where people like to garden, and they even have some raised flower beds that they'll identify as your personal space. I think that's just lovely. I can keep my car if I wish to, and they have parking spaces available, but they also provide transportation everywhere. They've got little shuttle buses that go here and there and everywhere. If you have a physician that's within 35 miles of the place, they'll give you a limousine service to and from the place.

I went to Freedom Plaza to visit some friends, and it was very nice. The people I visited there had a one-bedroom place with a living room and a kitchen. It was certainly big enough for me. The facility looked neat, clean, and well kept. The landscaping outside was also nice.

My mom has moved into Freedom Plaza. It's only been three or four days, but so far, it's OK. The place is nice. I only met two or three people there, and they are helpful, so far. Her room is adequate, nice, and comparable to what she had. The facility looks well kept. I haven't had that much interface with them yet.
