Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens

The PGCSC operates the Area Agency on Aging for Region 5, which includes Casa Grande. It offers various services and support to elderly adults throughout Pinal and Gila counties to enhance their quality of life, including volunteer opportunities, support groups, nutrition programs, transportation services, education and training, legal services and the ombudsman program.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

The LTC Ombudsman Program is a free, confidential service for residents of any long-term care facility in Gila or Pinal counties. Specially trained ombudsman act as advocates for residents of assisted living or skilled nursing facilities. They also strive to resolve any issues or complaints residents may have to improve their care and quality of life.
The Dorothy Powell Senior Center

The Dorothy Powell Senior Center gives seniors in Casa Grande aged 50 or older the opportunity to pursue recreational, educational and cultural activities with other aging adults. Activities include bingo, cards, chair exercises, crafts, dancing, support groups and health checks. It also provides legal assistance once per month, congregate and home-delivered meals and transportation services.
Arizona Technology Access Program

AzTAP’s assistive technology loan libraries lend equipment for a limited time so individuals can try these items to see if they meet their needs. The program is free to residents throughout Arizona. Devices can be borrowed for up to two weeks and can either be picked up or shipped and returned at no cost to the borrower.
