Genworth’s 2021 Cost of Care Survey doesn’t show a Florida city with a lower average monthly cost than Hollywood; the average throughout the state is 12% higher, and the national average is 15% higher. Florida’s prices are much costlier in The Villages, where seniors can expect to pay an extra $1,500 per month. Cape Coral is also over $1,000 more expensive per month.
