Can a stroke cause a person to not love his spouse anymore

My husband and I have been married for 40 yrs. He had a pretty bad stroke on his left side about 9 yrs. ago. He fought through it and can do most everything everyone else does. But now he says he doesn't love me anymore. Is this from the stroke or something else? He is 64 yrs. old. He also has PTSD.
