We had my parents at Mary, Queen and Mother Center for a while. They were a good place, seemingly well run, good administration, and concerned about providing care and rehab care. They're not excellent, but they're pretty good in what they do. They had a game room where they had a lot of card games, people come in and play music for them, and they have Bingo. They do different activities in that room. My parents were in was the rehab wing, but I know they had assisted living area and more of a straight nursing type area, and each of the wings had their own rooms for activities and own lunch room too for meals. For the most part, my parents liked the food that was offered, and they had options if they didn't really want the main menu. I think the quality was good. They also provided transportation to and from your doctor's appointments, so that was something that was helpful once we got in there and settled in, and they took care of the medications. The transport service was a little problematic in that they wouldn't show up to pick up my mom from her doctor's appointments. She may wait a couple of hours for them to show up, but I think it's not with the nursing home themselves but on the transport service.

I am so happy with Mary, Queen of Mother Rehab facility . My mother first went there this past January after spine surgery . The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and has treated my mother with respect and dignity. She has since returned twice and this last time it was very much of a relieve that when they came out to the car to help bring her in , that they seen her and started waving and saying "Hi Miss Ruthie"! My Mother loves the care tat they give her, the food is pretty good and there is plenty activities. I have not witnessed any shortness of staff. I am so great full to have found this place. The one problem I have is that they do not have a special diabetic menu. I will recommend this facility. I feel ok leaving my mother there.

I am not happy about the care my mother in law is getting. She is wheelchair bound and they will not take her to the restroom when she needs to go. Just put a diaper on her and want her to go in her pants which she does not want to do. I think keeping her dignity would be important to them. They also mistakenly switched wheelchairs with she and another resident. They have their names on them and room #. The staff clearly knew about the problem for at least a day but no one seemed interested to fix it. I feel this could be dangerous to both of them for medication purposes and other things. Perhaps they need more help. I feel at the price they are charging she would get a much better quality of care.. Very unsatisfied at this time.

I did like Mary Queen & Mother Center, but the issue that we had was the price. Everybody was friendly, receptive to our needs, and had a locked community for my mother because she wanders. They were nice. We submitted paperwork to that place, and we weren’t sure if we would eventually qualify for Medicaid or not, so they do take Medicaid. It was clean.

My mother has been at Mary Queen & Mother Center for approximately a month. She gets very good care there, and I am happy so far. The nurses and CNAs are very attentive, caring, and friendly. Mom has some extenuating circumstances (needs to be up and ready to go to dialysis 3 times a week) and they are very accommodating with that. The physical and occupational therapists are excellent too. The rooms are warm and seem "homier" than some others I've seen.

I went and visited Mary, Queen and Mother. My mother had been in the skilled nursing and whenever she had surgery, she also was there for rehab. I also have an aunt who lives there in the skilled nursing facility for a number of years. So I'm familiar with this facility. They have assisted living, apartments, and skilled nursing. They have a whole range of complexes there. The staff was really good. I have known a lot of them there. I met with quite a few when I went there just to go see the rehab area and I was greeted by some of nursing staff and the rehab people. They greeted me very warmly. They do have activities there and they're posted on the board. There are people that come in that sing or do different kinds of programs there. Plus they have a bus that takes them to places like shopping. They have quite a bit of activities planned for their residents.
