It was pretty minimal, it was more like a babysitter. My mom's feedback was that they were not really that helpful, it was like she was paying somebody to just sit there. After she passed away, the only people that were with her were people from BrightStar and we never found a couple of rings.

My caregivers help the most by being a good companion and making sure that my uncle is eating well, taking his medications, and their overall care for him. I enjoy that he enjoys their company. They are very flexible in ensuring my uncle has sufficient transportation and coverage. They're just really wonderful. The caregivers are really responsive, they take good care of my uncle, let me know if there are any concerns, let me know if he's having a good or bad day, and he enjoys their company.

When I am gone they take care of my wife and she will make some Korean food that my wife likes to eat. They are always available if I want to make some changes to the schedule or the time she comes. They have a good program and a back up in case the worker cannot come one day. They have a good history and resume. I think they are doing a great job.

They have good PAs. Their PAs do their job so well. I was very sick and these PAs brought me things they'd made for dinner, and they would bring it over for me so that I wouldn't have to cook. They talked to me and showed me how to get Meals on Wheels. They should be able to take me to the store and the meat market. They're not allowed to do that.
