I really enjoyed Jericho Residences because they have activities for the residents and they have a gym. The places there were kind of big and spacious. I had no issues with the service of the staff. The lady I met was very, very polite and nice to me. I wanted to meet the resident manager, but she was busy that day, that's why the one that worked in the office was the one I was involved with. Their dining area was huge and they do a lot of activities in this room. They have a TV in that room as well. Then they have washers and dryers in all the apartments. The person I met was wonderful. When I walked in there it was clean. When I went up to the building, to the floor, and to the office, they were all clean.

My opinion: Overall nice place to live with active senior community. The vision of the People's family with Jericho Residences is a staple to the community and legacy. The new management company from 2022, has some challenges however, some are self-inflicted by lack of communications, unaccountability and senior etiquette.

I have already moved to Jericho Residences. It's a 55+ community and I enjoy being there. It's clean, beautiful, it's very serene, and it's nice. The people there, everybody's friendly and professional. We're on our own, we buy our own food. The only thing is that the parking is bad. The staff is very nice.

I went to Jericho Residences. It was neat, clean, and quiet. The only issue I had was I have Parkinson's and I use a rollator to keep my balance, and even though they have a lot of handicap parking spaces, you have to find one. I guess everybody in that building needs a handicap parking space. They had some reserved places, but they don't have any more. The hallways were nice, clean, and painted. Every level had a different color. The apartment that I went to see was a two-bedroom, two-bath, which is what I want, but my issue was I would have to give up the wall-to-wall carpet everywhere except a little strip in the kitchen, and I can't use my vacuum cleaner like that. The building was shaped like a pentagon, and no matter what apartment unit you were in, it seemed like you had to walk forever to get to it, even to go down the hallway to the left or to the right or straight ahead, and my back was killing me. All in all, for anybody else looking for independent living, it's a nice place. Because of COVID everything is closed. There's no dining area. The only one I saw was the salesperson, and she was good, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The activities were explained to me, but nothing was working because they were waiting for the governor to learn when they could go back into the activities, the dining area, and the bingo. At that time it was all closed. They had a courtyard where they had functions with the tables. For someone who isn't particular like me, it would be a good place.

Jericho was within my income range at the time I visited it but I would have had to pay my own utilities which would equal to more than where I was staying at right now. The staff was very helpful, very polite and answered questions. They have a nice inner courtyard where you can sit down and people can talk and gather. They have an indoor exercise room and a beauty salon. The rooms are spacious, I got to see a one bedroom with its own washer and dryer, living room, dining room, walk in closet and either a balcony or patio. They have security at the door. They have parking available but it was a first come first served type. They have elevators and on each floor, they have a trash chute. It's a good community if people can afford to move in there and pay their own utilities.

I had an aunt who lived at Jericho Residences. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. The security was also good. They had a lot of programs for the seniors. Meals were served for those who did not cook their own food. There was also a hair salon in the area. There was a friendly atmosphere and the staff were excellent.
