I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 7 years ago and at the time doctors were just learning about the disease. I have recently moved to another state and started seeing a new doctor. I'm still trying to figure out what helps with my pain and laying in a hot hot hot bath, and stretching helps for temporary relief. Because this disease is was so hard to diagnose I had so many doctors try and tell me I was depressed and that was why I was in pain. My question is if anyone might know or have advice on what medications I could talk to my doctor about so I can figure out a way to relieve my pain. I'm still kinda new at any knowledge of my disease do to the fact that had a doctor who did diagnose me act as if I was just trying to get pain pills. When all I wanted was to know it was not all in my head that something was wrong. I honestly at the time could care less if I left with a script. All I wanted was a diagnosis. Now that I have a new great doctor I just need help in suggestions on where to go from here. Thank you.
