Hospice Plus was wonderful for my mom (and me) while she only had weeks to live. They took care of my mom the entire time up until she passed away in her bedroom here at our home. The staff was wonderful, every one of them that we met. The care they gave my mom wasn't just a "job" to them, I felt it came from their heart. I could tell they cared a lot for my mom. I will never forget the primary nurse we had and on one night towards the very end. She drove in the middle of the night at the end of her shift from her last visit with another client quite a distance away. She basically helped "me" during a bad trauma I was going through and brought a chaplain with her that helped me deal with things. This was a very special night that I will never forget and I'm so glad they were here. That same chaplain took the lead at the memorial I had for my mom after she passed. There were many times I depended on him afterward.
It wasn't just the care they provided while my mom was alive, it was the bereavement services they gave me after my mom passed. On a very regular basis they called me to inquire how I was doing this went on for about 2 months. Then there were letters of encouragement along the way that lasted for over a year. They sent a special letter on the 1 year anniversary of my moms death.
I "highly" recommend Hospice Plus and I hope you get the same care we did if you use them for the services.
