Do not believe that they really care for their patients. Their medical directors are horrible people who blame you when they send a different nurse on a continual basis who does not call you the night before to schedule a visit and you are not provided adequate wound care supplies to treat your medical condition. It is probably not the nurses fault entirely because on numerous occasions I have had to call the office to ask if I was on someone's schedule for a visit and on at least one occasion I was told by the nurse who had never visited me before that I was just put on her schedule to visit me that day and when she arrived I did not always have adequate supplies to dress my wounds and one nurse would try to use dressings like bandaids you can buy over-the-counter instead of the proper dressings that the doctor had ordered. My medical provider and I tried to work with Brooks but their medical coordinator told me that my expectations were too high and that I complained too much and they abruptly discharged me without showing any compassion, understanding, or professionalism.

If u want continuity of care don't use brooks, we had 3 different nurses show up, the last one, who had never seen my mom, was sent out for a discharge of continued care. My mom ended up back to ER with exacerbation of symptoms. Brooks itself seems to be a good agency just beware their home health division, it lacks in the department of brooks standards and causes more trouble than it's worth.

We’ve been using Brooks AmeriCare Home Health off and on for several years. They’re very good. They’re very professional and very friendly. They do everything they are supposed to do. Whatever you need, they send out someone that can handle it, and they have physical therapy for your hands and things to keep you from falling.

Mom is getting PT and OT from Brooks Home Care Advantage, and also has a CNA come once a week. The agency and caregiver is excellent, and the service is beautiful. Their physical therapist, Aimee, could name any price and she could get whatever she wanted because she is that caliber of a person. I recognize the best, and she is one of the best.

I have tried for several months to get my aunt set up with home care visits to no avail. The doctor sent over paperwork and I called later to get information. After leaving numerous messages and getting no response, I finally talked to someone else who looked into the matter. She told me the doctor sent over the wrong paperwork but that they would contact them and get new orders sent. Weeks went by and nothing happened. I called again and was told that they left a message but no paperwork came through. Then I was told that there was no way they could follow up because their systems doesn't have any way to remind them and that they have hundreds of patients. I am very disappointed in their complete lack of customer service and their "Oh well" attitude.

My mother was a patient with Brooks Americare Home Health services. The nurse and therapists were absolutely wonderful. They seemed to sincerely care and took great care with my mother. She had 2 wounds from a previous place and the nurse helped to completely heal those wounds. I would recommend this Home health to anyone. They are AMAZING!

Brooks nurses seem to have problems showing up for appointments and they don't bother to call the customer to let them know. This keeps you waiting and wondering if . And when they are going to come or not. Also if you have a problem and call . The office, it takes forever to get a call back. I had a bandage fall off a open wound and was told they would send someone right out but they never came. Right now I haven't seen or heard from a nurse this week, they are to see me twice a week. This is middle of the week and not as much as a phone call. Some . People say brooks is great, but you can not prove it by me.

The hospital gave me few choices of home health agency and Brooks Home Care Advantage was one of them. I choose them because I knew they were good and they have a good reputation. I like everything about their services. The people that they sent out were great. I would not say anything bad about them. We've had therapists and nurses and all of them were very knowledgeable, helpful, caring, patient, on time, and they are very easy to work with. My mom loves having them come. I would definitely recommend this agency.

The Brooks in-Home Care nurse for my mother is excellent. Always listening and caring. The nurse is very knowledgeable of basic care and especially wound care for diabetics. We always ask for her.
