The only thing we didn’t about Orchard is that they didn’t have the secured entrance like the other places did. The doors are open freely. We didn’t have any passes. It looks like a holiday inn -- it looks industrial. It didn’t look like a home.
The staff was very accommodating, and they welcomed us at the door. The lady called a couple of times before to make sure we had the right directions and if there was accommodations mom needed to get from the car to the building. She has just received her walker that time, so we were trying to getting her used to that. The rooms were a little bit smaller than the other two, but the bathroom was a shared situation and what if mom got confused in the bathroom and went to the wrong room.
