Crimson Heights Health & Wellness wasn't as inviting as the other places I've been. It was like stepping into a doctor's office. The rooms were pretty small. The staff was a delight. She was friendly and adorable. They showed us a list of activities, however, I didn't get to see any taking place. They have an indoor patio, they have an exercise room and an activity room where they do games. They showed me the menu for the day, but I didn't get to experience the food. They're currently not using the dining room, and ever since COVID started they have not used the dining room. That was one of the things that I did not like because I didn't see any residents out in the hallways. It seems like everybody's confined to their rooms. I did not see anybody walking around, I did not see anybody in the activity room, and to me, it looked like a hospital. Everybody was in the rooms, white hallways all the way around. It made me think of a hospital.

I am in absolute disbelief at the people that run and work at this place. The CNAs give all cnas a bad name. LAZY dont even began to describe the people here. I wish it was there loved ones in a home they may treat people better. Been here 6 days had to beg literally beg to get my patient a bath. Came in to urine all over him and his bed. Needs better training for all that work here besides wound nurse she is amazing.

Very sad about the service you get here. Prominsed to be a good place with great wound care and physical therapy so far been here a week and have yet to see either of them to be great or even good. Nurses dont have time to do anything but u never see them doing anything. Push the call light they may see what u need but 2 hours later and they still have yet to help with what u asked. Have not turned pt in over 2 hours or brought even fresh ice water. Would not recommend to worse enemy.

My mother is staying at Crimson Heights Health & Wellness. For the most part, it is a nice facility. It's fairly new, so it's clean. The rooms are spacious for the most part. The assistants are a little slow to respond. It was a rough transition that wasn't something she wanted to do or where she wanted to be. She was a quarantined for two weeks. You receive better service on the day shift; the night shift was a little slow to respond. Some of the staff were not as friendly or helpful. The food is nasty. She doesn't like the food, but it's a clean facility. I think it was just part of what she had to get used to: having to wait for assistance. I think they could work on their customer service and the response time; the training, maybe adding additional staff as far as nursing assistants or assistants to help with the patients. We were told when we first got there that they were short staffed; but when we talked to upper management, they say they weren't. They were using or taking supplies from my mother to use for other patients. It was a lot going on. I think for the most part, they just really need to work on this staff. They need to retrain their staff and make sure that they understand that the patients are the priority. The cleanliness is fine. Housekeeping cleans up the room, so that's great. I only get a phone call when they need something, to tell me about the progress, or an update. I saw a spa or a hair salon. You have to pay out of pocket for that. It's extra. I haven't seen it utilized, so I'm not quite sure how that works.

Crimson Heights Health & Wellness was lovely to my mom. I believe she was happy there before she passed away. The staff members were extremely friendly and caring. The only reason they're not a five-star place is they're not great at responding to phone calls, but other than that, they were absolutely lovely and wonderful. They treated my mom very well. She made friends there, so they did a great job with her. They're just not great at returning messages and phone calls. They have bingo, card tournaments, arts and crafts, dancing classes, and exercise classes. They have weekly visits with a hairstylist and a nail technician for manicures and pedicures, and they also have movie nights. My mom wasn't impressed with the food. The place was always spotless. It was fairly new.

God please forgive me for allowing our loved one to be put in this poorly managed facility. Staff is horrible, nurses never return calls. The main phone number just rings and rings. Due to Covid 19, we were not allowed inside so they pretty much ignored us and did what they wanted. Our loved one passed away in his room after only being there a few days. If you truly love and care for your family member research better as this is not the place. All I can say is if we would have been able to get inside, I would have removed him from this place. Very poor care, zero communication. Management of this facility needs to review what is going on.
