My mom moved to Angels Senior Living at Connerton Court. I've been pretty impressed. They're clean. It doesn't smell. They have great meals and they serve the residents there. They'd like the families to join in on her dining, so I go there now and then and have lunch with her. They have a lot of gassy food, and they should know better. The staff is amazing. I've learned almost every one of their names and the residents' names. They have bingo. They play, and they have trivia day. They also take them out to places like Cracker Barrel, or if they want to go shopping they can go to Walmart, and they take them out to do things. They have activities like exercising. They keep them active. The value is amazing. They give more than what you're paying for.

Beware of leaving anything you value with your relative at Angels Senior Living at Connerton Court. They disappear! When my mother was moved from assisted living to memory care, most of her clothes, shoes, and purses disappeared. She passed away recently, and staff promised to pack up her personal belongings for us to pick up. I am in another state. My son, who lives in Largo, went there this week when he got some time off work. Her belongings were nowhere to be found! He waited for at least an hour while they said they were looking for her things. The administrator would not even speak with him (hiding?). She had seemed very nice, but now she is ignoring my calls and emails. The missing family photos are irreplaceable. We had told them they could keep the bed we bought, and we didn't even want the TV and other furniture. The personal items, including the photos, were all we wanted. (She was a collector of vintage costume jewelry and took her favorite pieces to Angels. We would have liked to have them also. Even though they are not valuable, fine jewelry, they mean a lot to us.) And to think that we mentioned Ms. Keller and the staff in my mother's obit! This is so disappointing and is really poor service. We will not ignore this.

We went to Angels Senior Living at Connerton Court last June. I really liked the place, but it ended up being too expensive to stay there. It was all very nice, and the rooms were nice. We looked at the studios. The staff was very, very friendly, she answered a lot of questions, and she was very helpful. There were people in the lobby, which told me that the people at least get out and do things together. I did not like that they have a $4000, non-refundable fee just to move into the place.

The food and beverage has been addressed and changes are being made. it's nice to see an outfit listen to their residents and address the changes needed. The staff is still amazing and do a fantastic job - each of them take a genuine interest in the residents here and the care is nothing short of tremendous. With the new f&b coming it will make this place a home run

My father is living in Connerton Court, and he is very happy there. The staff is really good and caring with the residents. I was able to eat dinner there with my father. They have a restaurant-like area where you can go and eat with the family. The food is good, and they do have a good portion of it. They have different variety every day, which I like. The place is very clean. They also do a lot of social events with the residents. They do arts and crafts and decorations for the holidays. They paint pictures on the wall sometimes. They also have a sing-along every Friday. They have a happy hour area where some people come in and do some entertaining for the residents. The residents serve them snacks in return.

I would give them 10 STARS if I could! Connerton goes ABOVE & BEYOND for the residents and the families. EVERY staff member is so friendly and helpful. Connerton takes better care of my parents than I would ever be able to. The Director of Nursing, Pedro, is so easy to work with! My parents are both 85. Mom had been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. Connerton has a Memory Care wing and they are able to stay together (after 67 years of marriage, I would not have it any other way) Connerton was an answer to prayer!

This place looks good but not a healthy place to put your loved ones. The owner does not care about the residents all he cares about is MONEY. My mother was the first resident there, was promised a room for the rest of her life. We were told that the State came and evaluated her but no records of that meeting was given to us. My mother was the only resident there that was the easiest to take care of, you put her on a wheelchair and stayed there till put in bed at night. She did not spit, hit, pee anywhere or took food away from other residents like the other residents, yet we were told they could not take care of her. There is a lack of communication among the staff, they always have a different reason for evicting my mother. My mother is in a better facility and getting all the attention she deserves. Thank you Connerton Court for evicting my Mother.

This facility is bright, clean, and kept looking new. It is also a great value for the money. My father really appreciates having his own room and the fact that we were allowed to decorate it with his favorite things from home. I love the staff...plain and simple. They are caring and go above and beyond what is required. I can't tell you how often I see the Executive Directer and the Wellness Directer there after hours. If I ever want anything for my dad, all I have to do, or he needs to do is ask. For example, my dad has COPD. He got a cold and only had a regular twin bed. I mentioned to the Wellness Director that I was considering buying him a hospital bed so that his back could be elevated at night. It would help him breathe easier. He also sometimes has flareups of Gout and needs to elevate his legs. Connerton Court got him a prescription and made all of the arrangements for me. Therefore, the cost to me or my dad was a small co-pay. I also feel welcome to call the facility or come in at any time. They are very responsive to any feedback.. They really do try to be problem solvers for the residents. Also, after a month of tender care, they reduced my dad's fee for care because he improved so much. We are also waiting for War Veterans Benefits to start kicking in and they are working with us on that. My father has great care and I have peace of mind!

Visited this facility. It was very clean and well-kept. Bathrooms were large! Mom almost decided to move into this place until she had to select a room above floor 1. With dementia, this would have caused her more anxiety in locating her room and attending the dining service.

Food had been greatly improved since the new dining room manager had been here, and the food is really good. The staff is very friendly and cheerful and attentive to our needs. The activity director is great and offers something for everyone to do.

The place looks nice because it is new. The staff is not great at all. At night the medical charts are left in the office with the door open that anyone can walk in and take (HIPPA violation). I was able to walk in at 9:00 pm and no one was at the front desk and the no staff was found. I completely walked around the entire first floor and entered the nurses station where medical charts were and stayed for over 30 minutes without any staff appearing. Residents complain about the food and have diarahea. When administration is approaced they claim that they have changed kitchen staff but when I go it's the same staff. Patients are ignored and medical crisis overlooked. Staff and administration is not reponsive to residents's safety and medical concerns. Staff is over worked and not enough staff to cover the memory care and regular areas. Do not put your loved one there if they need assistance and be prepared for them to lose weight because of poor food and no healthy food choices for those with diabetes. (Muffins really ?) How about fresh fruit? Administration is dismissive and really don't care to make appropriate changes that benefit the resident.

Connerton Court is a newer place and seemed adequate. They're a little bit more basic and there was a slight sense of being modest in it. They have no furniture in there so we have to supply it. The shower was completely walk-in. When I was there, they had one lady who was a professional quilter. She had always stuff on display. Connerton seem fine to me. I might have my dad stay in there on short-term stays. He has dementia.

The facility is very nice, new, and clean. The staff seems dedicated and concerned, but still getting their legs under them as everything is brand new. The food seems to be an issue - I have heard multiple residents complaining about the quality and lack of choices. They are still working through activities and support services too. Hopefully as they get more residents and experience, things will improve.
