The people at Cadence Millbrae were very friendly. The rooms were fair size. I would like it to be a little bigger, but the place is very nice. Most of the amenities are on the same floor and it was closer to my house. Their dinner time though was scheduled for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I believe it was not open seating. They had a gym or workout room. They had a courtyard, bingo, games, and exercises. There was a movie theater. They have a bridge there. So it was a nice place.

Cadence Millbrae was very nice. The administrator was very alert and concerned about my mother's situation. She toured us around very thoroughly and she was very friendly. The facility was clean and all the people we'd pass by in the hallways that worked there were very happy and greeted us very nicely. There weren't any activities taking place while we were there, but they were preparing to have somebody coming in. We saw a nice dining room and the living areas. They had several living areas, big and small, where anyone could relax and enjoy TV. And they had a room with a very nice piano in it that I liked because it was decorated nicely and it also looked like a pleasant place to hang around.

My tour at Cadence Millbrae was excellent. It was very clean and modern. The staff who gave the tour was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The size of the units was very small, and that was the negative thing about them. I walked through the dining area. We didn't eat, but it looked lovely. They had a lot of amenities. They had an art room, a workout room, nice seating areas, and lovely outdoor spaces. For the size of the room, it was pricey. There was also a price change where they advertise one price, and when you go in it's higher.

Cadence Millbrae has been a very good and helpful facility. My mom is in their assisted living. It's very nice, clean, and very welcoming. Their rooms are appropriate for my mom's needs. The staff is very friendly and very approachable. Even the residents there are very nice. For activities, I know they have a mahjong area, a piano, and outings. They have a lot of options. They also have a library. From the beginning up to now, all of them have been very helpful. The communication, emails, texts, and telephone calls have been good.

Cadence Millbrae was definitely nicer than the other place I toured. The whole setup was a little better and more expensive. They're in the middle of construction on parts of it, so it was a little hard to judge them on the cleanliness and upkeep. The person who gave the tour was really very good. She was very friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. We saw somebody eating in the dining area, and the food looked really good. They had a lot of sitting areas for people to just be with chairs and stuff, and every floor had a few different areas. They can just go out of their rooms and socialize or just sit and look out the windows, which was really nice. The rooms were pretty bright and sunny.

We have recently signed in with Cadence Millbrae. We just completed the paperwork this this week, so my mom won't be moving in until 2022. The pricing was very good. They are newly remodeled. The community director and the sales director were very friendly. The staff that we met, they all seemed very pleasant. From what we saw, everything looked very clean. They're still remodeling, so some common areas are still from the old facility. All the new ones are very updated and modern. We only went to the model room and the dining area. We saw the arts and crafts room, and that's all new. They have arts and crafts, games, and puzzles. There was an ice cream social going on when we visited. There were also movies.

I had an in-person tour of Cadence Millbrae. The facility is beautiful. It seemed like they had a lot of activities, but it was just way out of my price range. There was a sitting exercise class going on while I was there. They have an art room. I saw the dining room and two different units, which were very nicely appointed. They were pretty small for the price they wanted. The staff members were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone was masked, and they had hand sanitation stations throughout.

My father was a resident of Cadence Millbrae. His experience was good. They were able to get him in quickly when we needed him to be placed from the hospital. The care he was receiving there was high. The Cadence staff did well. The staff members were professional and caring. In the memory care facility, what they offer is security. The people know that the family members are secure. They're getting very nice care in a very safe environment, meaning they can't leave without somebody helping them and assisting them out and all that. So you're not going to have them wander off or anything like that.

My dad has moved into Cadence Millbrae. He is in independent living right and will likely be in assisted living coming up here. It's all great. They provide the basic needs and have been incredible to work with. They're very accommodating and super supportive. My dad seems happy there. It seems they have a lot of music. The room is nice. He has a studio apartment. It's small but it's functional.

The tour we had with Cadence Millbrae was really good. It's a really big community with multiple buildings, and it seems like a lot of people are there. It's like a self-sustaining town. They usually have other activities to do, but they haven't had any lately because they're really trying to be careful with COVID. I think the lady who assisted me was very nice and very informative. She gave me all the prices, the floor planning, and everything else. She explained to me what "level of care" means and how to get assessed by the nurse. The rooms are really roomy and pretty big for a one-bedroom or studio. They are currently under renovations, and I think they're going to make it more modern, so it's pretty good. We also didn't see any trash; I think it's pretty clean there. They had railings on the side of the walls, too.

Cadence Millbrae is a three-story community. That's the downside to it. They have a lot of social activities. The person who took us around was very informative. They try to do a lot of community things, too. The rooms are very light and open, but the bathrooms are small, which would be a hindrance for my mother-in-law. You could not take a walker into the bathroom. There were countertops and pull bars that were close by, but there wasn't a pull bar right next to the toilet. It was more toward the shower. I really liked Cadence Millbrae. The drawback was that it is a three-story community. Because it has three different floors my mother-in-law would constantly need to be escorted around.

Cadence Millbrae has been good for my mother-in-law. She enjoys it there and they take care of her well. They have good service. Everything's fine and they're going to remodel it. They have music, bingo, and readings. Their staff is competent, and the food is excellent.

Cadence Millbrae was rundown. The carpets in the common areas were very old. It was very '70s or '80s, but the prices were cheap. They said they're going to start a refurbishment program very soon, and it really needs major remodeling. The rooms were too old and rundown. It was not impressive at all.
