If i inherit 33% how much do I have to purchase prior to be 51% shareholder?

I stand to inherit one third of an estate in the future and I have been given the opportunity to buy in prior to the inheritance. What percentage at a minimum would I have to purchase prior to the inheritance to be a 51% stakeholder after I inherit the 33%? Is it as simple as buying 18% prior or more complicated than that?
