I love Rio Terra Senior Living. It was my second choice, but they were a little higher than my mother's budget. It's a good place. It is a beautiful place. It doesn't have as many amenities as the other place, but it has a lot of activities. It had a restaurant that served its residents. It had libraries. They had activities for the residents, and that's about it. It was a really clean and beautiful place. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She was very professional and very amenable. She was a very nice lady. I liked her. The dining area was clean. It looked like a fine restaurant. It wasn't as good as the other place, but it was still a nice facility.

I toured Rio Terra Retirement. I liked the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. I saw a lot of residents out and about, and they had friendly and knowledgeable staff. The package included meals depending on what you signed up for. It had a lot of outdoor spaces. They had a lot of activities available for the residents. There was a big courtyard and a big area out front where people could sit.

We were looking for a safe, comfortable place for our dad. When we visited Rio Terra, we were and still are just amazed by the great things we saw and witnessed. Smiles, fun and very caring employees everywhere. As soon as they have an opening, dad will be moving in. We also had lunch and it was so delicious! Many choices too.

If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, friendly place for your loved one, Rio Terra is it. From the employees to the residents, we couldn't be happier. So helpful, kind and willing to do whatever is needed for my mom. The events and activities are so much fun for everyone. Families are always welcome too. It makes it so much easier to spend time with our mom when there are great programs for us to attend too.

We visited Rio Terra. The rooms were smaller. I didn't see any activities while I was there. However, the dining area was somewhat better than what's at the other place. They have nicer appointment and such. Overall, Rio Terra was on the same scale as the other place. It was clean and nicely appointed.

I went to the assisted living and the memory care sections of Rio Terra Retirement. It was very nice. The rooms were adequate. Their studio was much larger than other places that I looked at. They were very accommodating. Our doctor highly recommended them, so we're leaning that way.

Rio Terra Retirement was a very nice, clean, well-managed community. It’s a bigger facility. We looked at the independent living, and it’s more what mom will be looking for when she decides to go. The rooms were very nice and had full kitchens like a typical apartment as opposed to an assisted living room. They had bingo, bridge, a puzzle room, a library, and a movie theater. The woman who took us on a tour was very nice.

We saw the main area and the patio area at the back when we toured Rio Terra. They showed us the kitchenette or dining area where majority of the patients sit. They were having an activity where the staff was reading a book to the residents.

Rio Terra is a very nice facility, and I really like it. They got all new doctors, and the marketing representative should have offered suggestions on how to find them. It looked very clean, and I was very impressed, but I did hate the fact that I didn't know how far the cottage I was interested in was from the dining room. Their cottages were larger than most, and I would have moved there if it had not been for having to change all the doctors that I currently have and the cost of the meals.

Rio Terra was great and had the best vibe; it stood out. We liked that the price was very good and that they had independent living with full kitchens, and the assisted living had efficiency kitchens. The rooms were very nice and had really nice blinds. The marketing director who took us around was very personable and made us feel at home. The people there were very accommodating and welcoming. The overall grounds were beautifully kept, and we liked it.

Our room here at Rio Terra Retirement has two bedrooms and two baths. We like the setup and the quality of this place. The facility is very nice and take great care of us. We get two meals a day in the independent living. In the assisted living, they get three meals a day. There is a bus that takes us to doctors' appointments and on tours to see different entertainments. They have games, like bingo, and a game room. The only problem I have here is it is very hard to get to know people because the population is mostly female, and the dining tables are setup for four and six people, so it is very hard to break into the groups.

I visited Rio Terra, which was a high-rise with apartments ranging from efficiencies to one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms/one-bath to two-bedrooms/two baths. They also have an Alzheimer's unit and maybe a nursing home. It's a huge place. A year or so ago, they had the open house for separate little cottages that are two-bedrooms/two-baths and have a garage built on to them. I don't think I can handle walking to the main building where the meals are served. They don't have enough parking places or handicapped parking places out there, so there are problems like that. It would be five stars, except for the high-rise apartments, and they only have four apartments on the corners that have windows; I simply couldn't see in their apartments, and I have to have a very light and bright place.

Rio Terra had memory care and assisted living. The dining area and kitchen were impeccable. They had very nice memory care with a lot of assistance from nurses. The people were happy and very nice. The facility looked very new and very open. They had all kinds of activities going on all of the time. It was a very nice place. Everything was good.

They were nice at Rio Terra Retirement, and they had a special wing for patients that have Alzheimer’s and dementia, but it was too expensive for what we can afford. It was a nice facility. It just won’t work for us right now.

I’d say Rio Terra Senior Living is very clean. They’re comfortable and very inviting. It seems to be very well run, very friendly, and very professional. Rio Terra is the place that we chose and we’re waiting now for an accommodation. The accommodation is very, very nice. I think it’s very adequate. The dining facility is very nice and very clean. They have exercise class, they have a sing-along, excursions to go out to eat, tours, games, and movies. The staff is very thoughtful and very friendly.

The lady who gave us the tour at Rio Terra was really warm and friendly and made us very at ease. She answered the questions quickly and doesn't say I don't know. The facility itself is really clean and modern. The people there were the same age as my parents. They weren't too old, so they felt like they would fit in. The rooms are great. I would move in myself. The dining area was really attractive. It was wide open, clean, and it didn't feel like a cafeteria. It felt like a restaurant. I know that they have a lot of activities I thought it was a very attractive, modern facility, but it had a lot of wood and it seemed warm and homey. The apartments were really nice with full kitchen that they can use as they need it.

Rio Terra was clean, conveniently close to home and of reasonable price. My mother-in-law had one bedroom with a bathroom and a small kitchen. The staff seemed to have a good attitude and was helpful. They also have medical people there. They have activities that interact with the residents. My mother-in-law liked the people and the place.

We visited the Rio Terra assisted living facility, since we happened to be in the area. We liked the area a lot - and there are plenty of affordable accommodations for family members who visit from out of town. The grounds were spacious and well tended. We liked the vibe - it was friendly and casual, but still professionally maintained. There was plenty of staff to take care of basic needs and care of residents. The activities ranged from board games, to discussions, private reading and watching film and TV. All of the areas were pleasant to be in and we could see that the residents thought so, as well. The indoor areas were all clean and bright. There is plenty of sunlight so that they do not need to use lighting when it is sunny outside. This was also true for the dwelling spaces. The activities they plan regularly include everything from visiting local restaurant favorites, the public library, movies, theaters, festivals and fairs - to day trips to nearby areas. The private rooms were decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy atmosphere. Each unit has nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. The staff is well-versed at taking care of a variety of types of people, from those who are not ambulatory - to people who have memory issues. Their menus offered a variety of healthy food options. The food we saw looked nutritious, delicious and smelled really good, too. The snacks also looked interesting and healthy with a nice mix of nutritious options. We also liked that they encourage drinking plenty of fluids for healthy hydration each day. They have planned exercise classes - but also offer residents to work out any time they wish. We liked that they encourage exercise daily. This facility seemed very well maintained, with very nice staff and content residents.

I found the staff at McKenna Village to be warm and friendly, ready to assist and answer questions that any of us might have. The facility is new and beautiful. The common rooms are lovely with spacious gathering rooms as well as a dedicated movie viewing theater, a library and computer room, and smaller nooks and corners that people can sit in to visit. The rooms were well maintained and the appliances were all new. I liked the variety of layouts, and thought there were options to accommodate many different needs. The dining room was lovely, with views of the gardens and outside patio. Servers were pleasant, and the food surpassed my expectations. We were able to view both empty (available) rooms, and rooms that residents lived in to see how furniture fit. I especially liked the shelves outside of each room that allows the residents to personalize through displaying seasonal or other decor of their choice. Beautiful art on the walls, and a general sense of calm and pleasantness filled the entire facility.
