The Waterford at Creekside is beautiful and would have been a good choice, but it was out of my husband's budget. It was just lovely and having met a lot of the people who were staying there, they all seemed happy. It was just a nice environment. The staff that we met seemed very cheerful, and very supportive, the way they chatted to the people who were there, it seemed very positive.

The Waterford at Creekside was a very good facility. The staff member who did the tour was excellent. She was vibrant and knew the residents at the place and knew her staff. The rooms are smaller. They do a cottage-style thing where there's 20 rooms and there are a common living area, which is typical of most of the facilities, but the rooms were more closed in and it was darker.

The administration staff was very helpful. Some of the cottages need to be updated especially the furniture. The food, at best, is satisfactory. Activities put in an A+ effort to engage the residents.

The Waterford at Creekside was kind of split up like you got to walk out and go all the way around the building to go to different sections of apartments and it was raining nasty that day. I didn't like the setup. It's not their fault though. It's just different. When you go somewhere, you have your gut feeling, like you feel comfortable there or you don't feel comfortable there. There's no way to describe it, but I just didn't feel like that was it. The lady during the tour was nice. She had an appointment later. She took time to tour me around, but she didn't know I was coming. She said nobody told her that she had a tour. They offer a lot of stuff. They have special places for the family to go visit with their loved ones. They can come to sit with them and talk to them. There's a little family gathering room where they can gather and chitchat a little bit. They have brochures out front and they gave me some to look over. It's nearby a bunch of restaurants, a gas station, a Publix, and some food places to go eat.

I toured The Waterford at Creekside. The woman who gave me the tour seemed very caring. She was very knowledgeable about memory care. I liked that it was just a memory care facility as opposed to having other levels of care because then you can focus on the needs of memory care patients. I loved the layout. It was set up in separate little housing units. The room that we were going to get would have been larger. I appreciated that the room was large, and it had a very nice large bathroom. The courtyard was very lovely. It seemed very, very nice. It was just a little older. It seemed very secure and the residents there seemed very happy. When I was doing a tour, they were doing an activity with a fitness director, so I had only positive things to say about that. The dining area was smaller, but that's because it was a smaller unit of residents. It seemed very homey and well-equipped. There were staff in there. It seemed very nice.

I liked that the staff at The Waterford at Creekside was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable about the facility, and she seemed very passionate about what she did. I liked that it was clean and smelled very clean. I liked that it was a facility specializing in memory care since my mom has Alzheimer's. They didn't have anything going on at that time, but they have an activities calendar for each month and it's in every living area that they have. It tells what activities are going on each day of each month. They have a nice, spacious courtyard with a lot of plants. They have someone there to provide services like pedicures, manicures, and hair.

Seriously never put someone you love here. They are constantly understaffed which leads to not cared for residents. In a cottage of about 15 residents all with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease there was only one caregiver. (Which I'm pretty sure is against rules and regulations.) Staff is extremely unorganized and really just don't seem to care. They act like they don't have time for your concerns, and when they do listen it goes in one ear and out the other. So many promises were made and never fulfilled. My grandmother managed to escape their gate that was suppose to be locked with a security code. She wondered around the parking lot until someone pulled up and saw her. No one knows how long she was out there and when asked to see the footage from that day they said their security cameras were not working. When I confronted Bobbi she told me that maybe my grandmother had remembered the code and punched it in. Y'all... she doesn't even remember what she ate 2 minutes ago and you're going to tell me she knows a code? She had repeated yeast infections due to poor hygiene. She would go 5-7 days without being bathed. They even told us she is allowed to refuse baths. They would not call us to let us know she was refusing baths and would not let us try to help her bath. It took two full weeks for her to receive medical treatment for a painful, swollen ankle due to an injury that occurred in their care. They blamed this on paper work that had been misplaced. They could never tell us where the injury happened or how it happened. Many of us witness staff yelling at other residents and not being very kind to them. They often seems annoyed with residents and like they didn't really care. There are many other reasons we decided to bring my grandmother home but these are just a few. If you are looking for somewhere safe and caring for your loved one- look elsewhere. Please.

This facility did not adequately care for my grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. She was neglected by the medical team and the caregivers. She once went an entire week without a bath, suffered from a critically high potassium level due to lack of follow up, and had repeat infections. It was awful. And the dirt in the floor was intolerable for even my grandmother. The staff doesn’t communicate and no one except the receptionist is helpful. I’ve tried for two solid months to share my concerns and they won’t meet and won’t call back. Look somewhere else if you need a place for your loved one. This place need a complete overhaul.

The cottages are so nice. It feels like a dorm or something. The other residents there are nice and we’re very welcoming. I’m able to go visit and help with activities which I appreciate. There are lots of bingo games which my mother enjoys. There was a singer the other day. Have yet to experience any issues that need attention.

We put my mom into The Waterford at Creekside. The facilities director stepped up and helped us when we were scrambling to find a place last minute after being rejected by the prior place. She escalated the interview and facilitated getting a form to be created so that my mom could be accepted at their location. The reason why we chose the place is that the service is superior to what we've experienced before. We got quick action from the facility and the facilities director. The general appearance is very clean and well maintained. It's a unique experience compared to others. They have cottages and there are about 10 units in each cottage. They're being supervised by a full-time individual with a community kitchen, so it's like a dorm experience. In my mom's experience, she's had very good interactions by having a smaller community within that cottage to interact with as opposed to a larger community. They have a common building where they conduct community activities for the residents. They have to travel from their cottage to the common building to participate in the movie night or the entertainment that's brought into the facility. But they play games and cards within the cottage. I have a picture of my mom playing beach ball with her co-residents. It's a very interactive and social environment within that space.

The Waterford at Creekside was really good. The staff was really friendly, and the place seemed well kept. It's at the top of my list. The person who did the tour was friendly and knowledgeable. It seemed like she really cared about the residents. All care is included for the price, and they kind of have a cottage style feel. They take them on field trips (depending if they're not too far or advanced in their Alzheimer's). They will bus them to their doctors' appointments. They have scheduled activities daily for them, like exercise routines. They do all their meals for them, and then they have care providers every 24 hours a day and nurses. It was a really, really good place. They have both single rooms and a couple of shared rooms. You get to pick which one you want. There's a shared common area and shared dining room. It's an older building, but they're remodeling some of it.

What I liked about The Waterford at Creekside was the fact that each cottage was separate from the others and that it was a smaller community. I think they had six bedrooms in each one. Then they also had their own kitchen that they had access to; although, the meals would be cooked and brought in a central place together. The distance from the bedroom to the living area was just a short hallway. It had an enclosed garden area outside that looked inviting too. The lady that gave us the tour was very pleasant, very nice, and seemed to be knowledgeable. When I was there, there were several residents watching television in the great room.

My grandmother has moved into The Waterford at Creekside. It's a great place for seniors. They work with the disability that she has. Good people work there. The best thing about them is the way the staff works with everybody and how they treat the people there. They do activities. They have impersonators come in like to play Elvis and they do all kinds of board games and something like that. The facility is clean. They got a courtyard and they have outside games. The value of money is good.

We were very impressed with The Waterford at Creekside. Their staff was very helpful and good with information, and the place was well maintained, clean, and inviting. They provide activities for the residents and they have a choice of private rooms and semi-private rooms. They have musical entertainment, things like bingo, and outings only for those that can manage to do that since they have different memory care stages.

I toured The Waterford at Creekside for my friend, and it was wonderful. The lady there was so knowledgeable, very kind, and pleasant. They have a standard wall there, where the citizens who have memory care can go out and walk around in their yard. The facilities were extremely nice, except they were extremely small. I think the only thing you can get in a room was a bed (maybe not even a queen-size bed) and two chairs. You cannot get any furniture in there whatsoever. It was freshly done, painted, and a very, very nice facility. It was just so small that I don't think they can survive in that room. The facility was very, very clean. They had just refurbished the rooms that I saw. It was very, very clean.

We chose The Waterford at Creekside for my sister-in-law, but unfortunately right now it's at a standstill. We don't know how she's going to progress, and right now the centers are not accepting her the way that she is right now. She has to get better. We loved it. I may be speaking too soon because we actually liked it and we're considering one of the homes for my sister-in-law. They have good points. I really liked the apartments. They were small, but still nice. It was nicely set up, and I liked the way it was laid out. I'm sure she would love them, too. I don't have a loved one in there to actually see how they take care of them, but as far as seeing the place, I liked it. The lady there was wonderful showing us the place and answering all our questions. My husband and I both liked it. Right now they don't do too much gathering because of the COVID. The staff was telling us that they have things where they have them separated, but they can watch TV, they have a movie day, they have some puzzles, they have an area that they showed us where they do their games, and once that COVID is over they take them out. They go places too, so that is wonderful as well. I can't really say much about the staff other than telling me hello, but they were pleasurable. When they would pass by they would greet you. When I walked in it was a nice smell and it was clean. Everything was nice, neat, and in place. I saw some residents out and about.

The Waterford at Creekside was a lovely facility and they took very good care of my mother. The staff was excellent, and the room was top notch; it was large. My mother said the food was the best she had eaten. I would highly recommend them. I know they played bingo and bunco.

Beautiful and homey facility, making for an easy transition from home to the community. Open and airy facility with lots of places to sit and view the lovely grounds and lake. And the staff! So loving and caring! It's like we placed our parents with family. Without the worry and physical taxation of caring for themselves, my parents have bloomed! They get more exercise and are walking straighter. They have more social interaction, which has helped with depression. We are so thankful we found this place and can not thank the staff enough for easing our minds with their tender and attentive care for our parents.

I didn't like The Waterford at Creekside at all. It's an old facility, and it smelled mildewy and musky. I didn't like the way everything was separate. Nothing was under the same roof. It had different cottages, which I didn't care for. Each cottage was almost like a small house, and it was not very personal. The kitchen area was small as well.

My mother is at The Waterford at Creekside and we like it. They have nice cottages, which only have a maximum of 14 people and two caregivers at each time. She's in the memory care unit. They have nice yards with flowers big enough for them to walk around, but they can't get out because it's all gated. They have the kitchen, the common room, and L-shaped hallways to the rooms. The cleanliness, the staff, and the food are really good. They have birthday parties in the common ballroom, they get manicures, and an entertainer comes in and sings. The nurses and caretakers have been great, and they've been there for years. It smelled really good every time I've been there around lunchtime, and she's been eating pretty good. The grounds are kept up really nice with grass and flowers, and there's gazebo in each yard and a nice porch.

My mom was here for three years, and as she regressed, the care stayed excellent. They kept us involved with everything. I thought they took very good care of her. The people were great. When my brother and I were going to visit, we used to bring doughnuts for the people. That’s how nice they were. They had 12 or 14 people in a cottage and each cottage was set up at the level that they think the person was progressing to. There were seven levels, and as they progressed from level 1, they move you into a different area to be with everybody in the same type of level, so they can all get the correct medical experience.

This community puts on a great sales pitch about how they are equipped to handle all stages of Alzheimer's, but that was not the case in my experience. This facility is NOT equipped to handle an exit seeking resident. My parent escaped the facility once, simply because an visiting aide let him/her out of the security gate. They are extremely lax in their protocols. Nurse practitioners weren't required to sign in/out of the facility and when I tried to verify if my parent had been administered a new med, they could not tell me because they had either forgotten to give it to her, or failed to log the medication. When I attempted to confront them, they blamed my parent for their failure and when I asked for a refund for the 30 days after I moved my parent, they refused to return my calls and letter. Since my parent moved out, they have been scrambling to change their protocols regarding logs and gate codes, etc. At the end of the day, even if they fix all of the above, they still do not have sufficient staff to handle exit-seeking residents. They should not advertise that they can handle such a person.

The Waterford at Creekside is one of the best places I looked at for my husband. It has things that interested me that would be of help to him. The rooms are OK, comfortable-looking, and suitable for different needs. Things can be brought from home to make rooms more likable for the occupants, which appealed to me. My husband seems to like the food. They have exercise and outside activities, like gardening. The staff is great, patient, and encouraging. I am very pleased with them, and I very much like it.

The Waterford was a little bit depressing, but the staff was fantastic, and they were more than helpful, but they told me I had to show up here without telling him where he was going. Their individual and the way they interviewed me, they would put my dad in a gated locked area, and he is not in that now. There were few things that I talked about with them but I was not comfortable putting him in. They have a yard enclosed in a chain link fence. Each individual building has a yard, and the fencing is locked.

I am very grateful to have found this facility for my mother Cathy who is a resident in cottage 6.. I visit 3-4 times a week and mom is always clean and so is the cottage and her room. Since mom needs a wheelchair it is nice to know she will be dressed and ready to go on their transport bus when we have a doctors appointment. Special thanks also to the nursing staff and office staff you put my mind at ease knowing mom is well taken care of

My wife has been a resident for three months now. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the Cottages. I like that the residents are grouped by their cognitive ability which allows for a more stable environment. I have eaten there several times and the food is excellent. They prepare individual breakfasts in each cottage. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff treat each resident patiently and lovingly. I have Never heard anyone raise their voice to a resident or staff member. I highly recommend Creekside to anyone who wants only the very best for their loved one.

I liked the setup at The Waterford; you were in a little area where everybody was around in your mental level, and I liked the concept. The place though looked like a little rundown and needed some work. They showed us a room that really looked beat up; the walls all had holes and things on them, and the shower dripped continually and had rust. The place wasn’t great, and one of the caregivers was yelling really loudly when we went in, but the cleanliness was OK.

We've used here for respite care only. I have placed my wife there for 5 days back in July and I would not hesitate to put my wife there on a permanent basis when the time comes. It seems to be a really nice place. They do not accept Medicaid though.
