I toured Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach and met Georgia. She was very nice and very good. The facility looked clean. I liked that it was closer to my dad's house. The cleanliness was very nice, too. The room was average. It had a little separate area for the living room and a little kitchenette.

The tour at Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach was very good. The lady that set it up wasn't there, but the director of nurses was and we had a good interview. He said, "We'd love to have you here." You don't have to go and eat all the time there, but anytime you want to, you could go to the main dining room and eat. It's an older place, but they're trying to spruce it up and everything. They've repainted the outside. It used to be a peach color and they painted it kind of a dark blue. It's showing its age. It's been there quite a while. The dark paint made it look more dated.

Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach was a beautiful place. It was just comfortable and homey. As soon as I walked in, it was very clean, big, and open. It had a lot of places for my father to walk around. There were so many things for the residents to do. The rooms were perfect. Everything about it was perfect. I was so impressed. The staff was wonderful. They were very attentive.

I am a resident of Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach. They have a lady named Charlotte, she's our recreation person, and she keeps us pretty well entertained. They have some groups that come by and sing and play guitars and all kinds of different entertainment that we have here. Charlotte keeps us pretty busy. My room is about 40 feet by 20 feet, got a bed, a shower, and a bathroom, and everything I need here. They have some larger places to live across the street. They're independent of the building and they have like a three-plex or something like that. Some people are living now in the bigger unit, but I don't need much room. I'm just happy with what I have. For food, you have cereal in the morning, and we have eggs, bacon, and toast. At lunch, we have drinks of whatever juice you like. It's pretty much the same for breakfast, but lunch varies and sometimes it's disgusting, but other times it's terrible. They keep us pretty well fed anyway. We have a barber that comes by once a week on Mondays. They have plenty of books to read. The staff were pretty decent people. They're there for us and they take good care of us. They provide services for breakfast and lunch and dinner, do the laundry for us, and do housekeeping and cleaning. I have no complaints, it's a pretty nice place. They do everything they need to do. If you want something, they're right there to get it for you, and they take us all out to Publix once in a while to do our own shopping if we need to. They also take us out to lunch once in a while to a nice restaurant or something like that, in case we just get tired of the same old stuff. They try to keep us active with some type of activity. Once a week or so, people come by, and somebody entertains us or whatever.

Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach was really nice. The staff was good. The independent living setting was super nice. They allow pets. They've got everything there that my aunt would possibly need.

We toured Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach and it was beautiful. The staff and the people that lived there were friendly. My brother-in-law's mother lived there before she passed away, so, we knew what we were going to go look at. It was just the same as it had been before except the paint was nicer. They had updated all the furniture and the paint.

Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach was clean and the layout's good. They had some individual cottages and a large courtyard with benches where people could sit out and enjoy the day. They also had a game room, a salon, a dining room, a separate activity room, and a little library. There were three different apartment sizes and they were spacious with a kitchenette and a little dining area. The menu looked appealing, too.

The staff at Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach were very friendly and very helpful. I pretty much met with the executive director, and she went over all the options and showed me a couple of places that were open. She also showed me a place that was becoming available. The rooms that I saw were the ones in the independent living that they were totally renovating. So the condition that they were in, they were just needing to be refurbished, and you could tell that somebody had been living in there with the stained carpets and mismatched flooring. I saw one that was almost completely done and I was very impressed by the renovation. They have a shuttle service, and one of the nicest things that I saw for my parents was the beach that was very close by, and they make trips over to the beach at the state park. The other thing is that they are just around the corner from a grocery store. So my parents will be using a golf cart, and we have a place to store the golf cart in the garage, so that's very helpful. It will only take them five minutes to get to the grocery store if they want to use their golf cart. They have a big screen TV set up with several chairs, they have a game area, like four people can play cards or chess. As far as other amenities, they have a beauty salon there, and that's pretty much it. They didn't have anything else like a pool or exercise room or anything like that. But I think for my mom and dad, this will be a good choice for them. I saw another place that I liked better, but it was more expensive and this fits my parents' budget. They have one meal a day.

My sister will be moving into Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach. My first impression, the property looked nice and clean. The people were very, very friendly and talked to a few of the residents, and they were all pleased. The activities director was extremely nice, the health director, and everybody that I talked to, it just seemed like a good fit. I like the appearance of the place a lot, I like the way it was laid out. It's all on one level, and I don't like the elevator part and stairs.

My mom was in assisted living at Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach up until last month. Everything was fine. The staff was very accommodating and seemed very competent. She complained about the food, but I ate with her a couple of times and it wasn't bad. It's just bland, no salt, that kind of stuff. Most of her stay was during COVID, so they didn't offer a whole lot. They would play bingo, and that's the only thing she partook in. They had movie night, and they had people who came in. They had quite a bit -- she just didn't take advantage of it. They should have some cards though. It's very comfortable and very easy to get around. I would recommend them because of the staff. They are very friendly for the most part and helpful.

Our experience with Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach has been good. They have regular exercises. Mom also goes to physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have games, reading, someone comes in and plays music at least once a week, there's a monthly family night, and arts and crafts. She gets three meals a day plus snacks. They take her if she needs to go somewhere, like shopping or doctors' appointments. It's really clean. I really like it. She's been there for about two years, but she was in the independent living section. She moved into their assisted living program recently.

My husband and have lived here six months and i can truthfully say that we can find no fault with the services they provide. The food is above most of the places we visited and there ls a good choice of food. The staff is very good to the residents and always helpful. I espesially like the courtyard where we can enjoy the flowers and birds. The transportation to appointments is helpful and the activites enought to keep us as busy as choose tobe.

It is an excellent facility; it is beautiful. The dining area and the rooms are very attractive. Everything about this facility is very nice. I would certainly recommend this facility. Sue, one of the staff, has been very helpful. I can’t say enough nice things about her. She’s excellent and very nice.

They have a wing for memory care here where my mother-in-law lives. We are very pleased with it, and she has settled in there quite well. They have a beauty shop where she gets her hair done once a week. They have quite a few activities. In the wing where she is, they need lots of care, but the staff sits with them as they do things like puzzles and little crafts. They have activities for assisted living as well, and they include those people in the memory wing. They had a nice fall festival, and a winter formal dinner that they invited families to. They had a New Year’s party back in the memory area and, for Christmas activities, they brought in children from the schools to sing and perform, so they have a lot going on.

We went here for my mother-in-law. They had cottages there, so it was less secure in that sense, but also had the traditional rooms. The rooms were adequate. The location was nice with a shopping area in walking distance, and it is close to the beach.

My mother is in here, and I think its fine. I think it's great, and the activities are nice. I like it because it is small and intimate. The meeting room of the staff is the same as the patients' so they are not hidden in some hard to find office. The place is clean. I eat there, and the food is fine. However, in this place you cannot age out. They didn't have a license for if you got really sick and needed injections; you will need to go to a skilled nursing facility because they can't provide that kind of service. My mother is a hundred so we are concerned with that, and that is one of the issues with moving her. However, for what it is, it is great.

I recently visited this community for a Health/Educational seminar and was greatly impressed. The residents seem to be very happy and enjoy it. I did not realize we had anything like this in our area. They offer completely separate Independent villas as well as Assisted Living and Memory Care. I would live there myself and would love it if my own parents lived near and could have this as an option. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for themselves, family members or friends.
